Meet Lucca Benedict the newest addition to the family! Born 5 weeks early at 49.5cm and 2.9kg his a super strong little guy spending just 2 weeks in the nursery to mature a bit to feed on his own.

Today is Lucca’s due date, and we have been home a couple of weeks now and I keep thinking his only 2 weeks old still, 😂 the time in the nursery was a dream right !

🙏Thank you to my gorgeous clients who rang and text me, or that sent flowers and cards while I was in Hobart it was such a surprise each time to get to “ go get the mail” it helped pass the time and made my room smell amazing. I was lucky enough to have a beautiful room in the RHH it made it much more like home than a hospital room.

Having to unexpectedly finish work a lot earlier than imagined and at no notice , was really hard for me knowing I would be letting so many of you down that had appointments. I know so many of you couldn’t fit in and have had to go to other salons, I truely hope when I’m back I see you in my chair again soon.🤗

We just had a perm appointment cancel at the last minute tomorrow morning 😱 bad luck for us, we hate having big gaps in our day ! But if you want a perm or a colour, or a curly cut we have the time to fit you in tomorrow which rarely happens at short notice!Give us a call and we can book you in.

Did my first hair cut in the dark tonight 🫣 15 years of doing this young man’s hair and it was certainly a first for both of us doing hair by candle light.

You have no idea how fast the light just disappears especially with no street lights, thankfully my husband rescued us from half a hair cut rigging up some lighting, (it wasn’t the first time today he had to rescue us either 😳)

Due to unforeseen circumstances we will be closed this morning reopening at 1.30pm, I’d like to wish everyone a safe and happy Easter and be careful on the roads during the break.

We will be open only by prior appointment during the school holiday break, and we currently have a full book untill 2nd week of May, (although that can change in the blink of an eye) if you need to alter an appointment or make one please just leave a voice message so I can call you back.

Tam has taken up a wonderful opportunity to further her career as part owner of Zi hair.

Although I am sad to see her go, I am excited to see her succeed I couldn’t be more proud of her! I know she will do amazing things, which I am sure you will all agree with. 🧡

Since I employed her as a 17 year old apprentice, she has never let me down and I am so grateful. I am truely blessed to have Tammy in my life, we have supported one another in good times and bad times. Tammy will always have a special place in my heart as a wonderful friend not just employee. 💕

I wish Tam all the best for her next exciting chapter # # #

It’s not the classic precision cutting we are trained in, it’s more of an organic method and approach to cutting hair.
