INTRODUCING THE COACHING DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR SIMON ⚽️⚽️

I have been a Redback since 1985 and I'm sure my blood bleeds red and black. Having played all my juniors here, some first grade (before it was Premier League) Over 35's and stints as Premier League Coach and Club President, and long time Club Sponsor, I have really seen it all from all angles. My vision is just to continue providing opportunities for our local kids to participate in the our Redback community, whether that be to just play with their mates, or whether that be as a pathway to go on to more elite football. No matter the goal, it all starts with good coaching and nurturing and thats how I hope to assist as the Redbacks Coaching Development Coordinator, helping coaches improve and being a main point of contact for coaches back to the committee. I will also be helping my wife Natasha as Club Sponsorship Coordinator.

I’ve been at the club for my whole life covering all different jobs and roles from a young u7’s player all the way to my current role as President.

I want the love I have for this club to be infectious and spread across our whole community and for us to be a club anyone and everyone can feel comfortable at and a part of no matter their background.

11th October at 6.30 pm is the AGM at the LUSC, all are welcome. Come have your say and be a part of an amazing club.⚽️⚽️

Unfortunately today didn't belong to the redbacks. Both teams played amazing and left everything on the field
Our U12 girls went down in a penalty shoot out after scores were level at full time and extra time.
Our U13/14 girls went down 0-1 in extra time. Again both teams left everything on the field and done our great club proud.
Can't wait to see what these 2 teams bring next season along with everyone else

wow what a game by the u15/16s tonight. We were up 1-0 at half time but late in the second half the scores were levelled. With the game going into extra time, our Redbacks fought hard but unfortunately went down 2-1. Everyone left it all on the field and played amazing. They should all hold their heads high as they've done our club proud
