What are the challenges of starting out in the gym as a NDIS participant?
Lack of confidence, and understanding from someone who truly gets you, for who you are. Makes it hard to start.
Not many EP’s or Physios have actually lived in the shoes of the complexity of the NDIS.

What is the biggest challenge to achieving your NDIS plan goals?
It’s not your ability. In fact, it’s not even anything that you think of typical “barriers” that get in the way. For most, it is your mindset.
It’s the old saying, “If you think you can, or if you think you can’t either way - you’re probably right”.
Why is this so?
Because our mind focuses on where we pay attention to. If you focus on the negative/ ways things aren’t working this is where your energy and focus will go.

Peter is now seated rowing/ leg pressing 40 kilograms at 94 years of age! I explained to Peter that this has to be some kind of record or close to it. I couldn’t be prouder with how far he has come and his incredible progress to date! 💪
Nich, a NDIS Participant lost 20 kilograms in just 10 weeks since starting Exercise Physiology with me.
He is now going for walks, and working out 3-4 days per week feeling a lot better mentally and physically from his sessions. He has turned his life around from where he was at.
Nich has progressed with strength gains to now push 195kg on the prowler/ sled (from 130kg initially) and bench press 60kg for reps (he started at 40kg) AND
Nich needs to find a heavier leg press, now pushing the whole weight stack (188kg for reps) 😂
About Our Service & How It Works
Step 1:
In your first appointment at the clinic, we’ll sit down together and talk all about you.
We uncover where you’re experiencing pain, what you’re struggling with most right now, and map out a clear plan of action to where you want to go.
Step 2:
We’ll take a look at how your body moves to pin-point exactly where your pain is coming from, so that we can create a bespoke program to help you move freely and easily — pain free.
Step 3:
We’ll do a series of muscle strength assessments at your hip, core or shoulder so that we leave no stone unturned. You’ll feel confident we’re fixing the correct areas of your body to maximise your progress to a pain-free life.
Step 4:
We piece it all together to give you a fully comprehensive program, sent to you via Physi-Track.
We’ll continually monitor your progress to make sure your muscles regain strength and relieve any tension in tight areas of the body.
Service We Provide
- We use exercise prescription to build capacity in NDIS participants physical mobility, walking ability;
muscle tone, strength and overall mental wellbeing.
- We treat a wide variety of clientele including NDIS, DVA, Aged Care (MAC), and Medicare (CDM)
- We primarily specialize in the transformation of NDIS participant’s joy, confidence and
freedom as well as their support workers and partners/carers.
- All the services we provide have no out of pocket expense to any client with valid service agreements and referrals.
- NDIS and Medicare subsidies the costs of the exercise prescription through the allied health program and NDIS plans.
- Lachlan Crowther Exercise Physiology cover the costs of everything else relevant to the program.
After 7 months of My Aged Care Exercise Physiology home visit sessions, my client’s improved from walking 20 meters with a wheeled walker to 40 meters with a walking stick,
And her husband experienced reduced back and hip pain, enabling him to walk backwards and reach objects from the floor.
