Sharing some special news, that Iโll be welcoming a baby in November ๐ถ๐ผ๐๐ฅน
Iโd like to acknowledge everyone in the midst of their fertility journey, loss and everything in between. Every emotional youโre feeling is so incredibly valid. I know this can be a really challenging post for some to see and I encourage you to honour any emotions coming up ๐
Pregnancy so far has been magical, and so special for me to experience first hand what many of my clients are experiencing. I have a deeper respect and understanding for so many elements of the pregnancy journey.
A day doesnโt go by, where Iโm not overwhelmed with gratitude for the beautiful baby growing inside me. Being a Mum is something Iโve dreamed of my entire life, so Iโm so excited and grateful that that time has come!
For now, Iโll be working as usual! Iโll be letting all of my clients know about my mat leave plans (once I figure them out!), and will be taking on new clients until mid-August.
Iโm really excited to be sharing more about my pregnancy with you all.

THE McCARTINS โค๏ธโค๏ธ Best day of my entire life, feeling so grateful ๐ฅน๐ฅน
Ooor, 2 months ago! Putting together a Pre-Conception plan, and focusing on your health is SO important for so many reasons. One of the main reasons is to really support the quality of your eggs, as well as optimising S***m health as both of these factors dictate fertility, and the health of your baby. A beautiful place to start is looking into your environmental toxin exposure, as well as your diet, stress levels and looking into starting a supplement regimen. If you need any support with this, Iโm here for you ๐ซถ๐ผ
Inflammation is at the root of all imbalances in the body. Think acne, period pain, gut pain, anxietyโฆ.the list goes on. They all contain an element of inflammation, which makes it so important to eliminate these foods โจ
Yaaaaayyy!! I am SO to announce my new Masterclass๐คฐ๐ผ๐ถ๐ผ Pre-conception & Fertility are some of my absolute favourite topics, which Iโm incredibly passionate about and I am so excited to chat to you all about it! More details will be coming very soon โจโจโจโจ
Are you trying to conceive, or thinking about conceiving? Often an overlooked part of conception is your uterine lining. It's so important you focus on incorporating an abundance of foods to support your lining, primarily after ovulation. These foods are a beautiful place to start ๐ซถ๐ผ๐ซถ๐ผ
Vitamin D and Fertility โ๏ธVitamin D is often overlooked, however itโs integral when supporting pre-conception health and throughout your pregnancy. Optimal Vitamin D levels increase the likelihood of pregnancy, reduce the risk of miscarriage, support a healthy Immune function (this includes preventing conditions such as Asthma and Eczema), improves live birth rate, supports bone density and reduces the incidence of pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes. Ideally, Iโd love to see your levels between 100 - 120! Sunshine is the easiest way for your body to absorb Vitamin D. Otherwise, Salmon, Sardines and Cod Liver Oil are beautiful dietary sources.
I've been enjoying a beautiful week away in Port Douglas. This year I made a promise to myself that I'm going to give back to myself and fill up my cup consistently, so I can continue to give lots to my beautiful clients.
โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ
I do this with consistent self-care (baths, my skin-care regimen, facials, massages, kinesiology, psychology and energy healing), spending time in nature (trees are my favourite, so I do this via trail walks), fuelling and supporting my body with food that makes me feel amazing, ensuring I'm consistent with my routine (7-8 hours of sleep each night, a restorative exercise regimen, time with my partner and fur babies) creating energetic boundaries (not over exerting myself in any area of my life), and my favourite, short trips scattered throughout the year (yay!).
โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ
I really think this is so important for everyone.
โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ
What do you do to fill up your cup?
Time for some Liver Love? Your liver is incredibly important, and supports your health in countless ways. If youโre having issues with your hormones, digestion, bowel movements, SKIN (!), fertility, weight and energy, then it may be time to look into giving you liver a little bit of extra love. Here are some foods that can be beautifully supportive when added into your diet ๐ฅฐ
๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ Did you know ovulation is the main event of your cycle? If you donโt ovulate, then youโre not making any progesterone and having an anovulatory cycle. This is an issue for many reasons including; ovulation is imperative for fertility / baby making, whilst progesterone supports your immune function, thyroid, reduces inflammation, supports brain and breast tissue. There are many, many reasons for an anovulatory cycle including; PCOS, being a teenager, peri-menopause, hypothalamic amenorrhea, stress, under eating, high prolactin levels, having come off hormonal birth control or being on birth controlโฃ๏ธ
Thereโs been lots happening behind the scenes lately, and Iโm sooo excited to share this with all of you very, very soon!
I hope everyone has the best week ahead โฃ๏ธ
Are you thinking about TTC in the next 3 - 6 months? My clients know just how much I emphasis the importance of optimising your health 3 -6 months prior to conception.
โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ
Along with diet, gut health, emotional wellbeing, relationships, exposure to chemicals, sleep and lifestyle, taking a high quality natal Vitamin is absolutely imperative ๐
After a restorative break, it's been amazing to be back in clinic the last couple of weeks, making up some deeeeeelicious herbs!!! There's been lots of focus on pregnancy support, fertility, immune health and emotional support. I'm not sure if my clients will agree on the delicious part ๐
This is SUCH an important, and often overlooked topic. Over the coming weeks, I'll be discussing what factors can impact s***m quality, and what you can do to support this ๐

Why I do what I do ๐๐๐
Calming your nervous system is one of the best ways to support progesterone production ๐งก This can be so difficult at the moment, and is one of the reasons so many of us are experiencing PMS and hormonal imbalances. Here are some beautiful techniques to support that production, diaphragm breathing being one of my favourites!
So excited to see everyone at the PCOS Masterclass tomorrow! So grateful for my work, and being able to support women ๐๐๐

My next PCOS Masterclass ๐๐ Have you got PCOS? Are you confused as to what PCOS means for you? Are you confused as to what youโre meant to be eating? Are you a Naturopathy student who would like to understand PCOS a little better? Then this Masterclass is for YOU!! There are only a few tickets remaining, so make sure you get in quickly. Iโm soo excited to share this with you, and support you on your PCOS journey ๐๐๐๐
PCOS & Supplementation ๐ค
โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ
Supplementation can be incredibly beneficial in PCOS; supporting Insulin levels, cycle regulation, ovulation and hormone balancing. We'll be going over supplementation and their uses in the PCOS Masterclass in August!
โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ
It's incredibly important to not self prescribe, as it's important to ascertain the driving factor, and treat accordingly!

No Ovulation = No Progesterone. This is a huge issue when it comes to hormone levels within the body, leading to irregular cycles, PMS and Mood disturbances. Do you know if you're ovulating? โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ

Almonds - a beautiful source of Magnesium. Magnesium is so incredibly important for hormonal health, supporting the production of progesterone, reduces period pains and cramps, prevents headaches, supports mood, and reduces PMS symptoms โค๏ธ

Do you experience a Low Libido?! This is honestly something I see in clinic every single day ๐ Along with an array of other causes, such as stress, exhaustion, poor self esteem, hormonal imbalances and an imbalanced relationship, the pill is a huge contributor! Why is this? Unfortunately, the synthetic hormones in the pill (and other hormonal birth control), lower your bodys Testosterone levels. This in turn significantly decreases your sexual desires ๐โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ

Healthy Pancakes ๐ These were absolutely delicious! I made these with the Vanilla Pancake mix. They were so quick and easy to make, and filled with essential fatty acids and protein, so perfect for your hormones! I topped mine with coconut yoghurt, berries, nuts and maple syrup .

Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), is a severe form of premenstrual disorder, where you experience extreme emotional and physical symptoms. The symptoms are often so significant it interferes with your relationships, work and social activities. PMDD symptoms can last for 2 -3 weeks in the month, until the 5 -7 days when experiencing PMS. Treatment for PMDD is specific with dietary changes, lifestyle changes and supplementation. An easy place to start is by increasing dietary Magnesium and B6, as this will support progesterone levels, reducing symptoms. If you have any questions, feel free to DM me.
