Our customers often say that their windows stay clean for a long time after we’ve cleaned them. We thought we’d share our two main secrets:

🤫1.Fly-screens and security screens are always cleaned thoroughly. We wash them with soapy water or for crimsafe we use Enjo gloves and water. It actually takes longer to clean the screen than the glass attached to it, but it is worth it. If the screens are clean, the windows will stay clean.

🤫2. Avoid using dish soap. Dishwashing liquid is OK for short term results (if you clean the windows often), but it will eventually attract more dust and may leave residue if not cleaned properly. For long lasting results, it is best to use a proper window cleaning detergent specifically made for window cleaning. We use professional window cleaning solution from Prestige Products.

It was our 18 years wedding anniversary yesterday and to be safe we celebrated it by having our favourite takeaways- Pastacup and Nando’s 😜

We’ve only got limited availabilities for March and April, so we are saving the slots for our regular/previous customers. We will resume quoting for new customers in May.

Our current waiting time for window cleaning is around 2 weeks, but we usually can come to quote within a day or two (mostly late afternoon after 5pm).

We also are only doing single storey (no more climbing ladders for Ivan 😁) and the area we service is within radius of 15km of Madora Bay (Mandurah to Secret Harbour).

The price for a 4x2 single storey house with approximately 25 window panels would be around $250. This includes internal and external window cleaning, cleaning of all window and sliding door tracks, washing of fly-screens, cleaning of frames and panels, cobwebbing and cleaning of wardrobe mirrors (if any) and bathroom mirrors.

We have been told by our customers that we do the most thorough job, and we feel this is important because most of us only get our windows cleaned once or twice a year, so it is worth getting it done properly and thoroughly.

And it comes with 7-day rain guarantee ☔️, we always contact our customers after the rain to make sure their windows are ok and if not we will schedule a time to touch them up.

This photo was taken 19 years ago, how time flies!! We’ve spent most of our married years working together and it has been great.

On another note, we are fully booked until the end of the month and we are only doing our regular round during the school holidays, so our next availability for window cleaning would be after the school holidays.

The 5-day lockdown restrictions will finish tonight and we are back to work next week! Thank you to all of our customers for being so flexible and adjusted to the change. All of next week’s appointments will go ahead and we will comply with the government’s safety regulations.

A big thank you to our regular customers who’ve been putting up with us and trusting us with their homes, it’s been great getting to know you and your family including your fur babies 😻🐶🐥.

Lastly but not least we are very thankful to the businesses including the cleaning companies and agents who have been giving us steady supply of work.

Our focus for this year is for work and life balance- to make sure we have enough time for the family and community. With that in mind, we currently are still unable to take on new housekeeping customers (we will advertise when a slot becomes available).
Also for new window cleaning customers, we are limiting to local areas only of approximately 15 km radius. We thank you for your understanding.

We love the combination of window cleaning work and housekeeping work! Each day is always different and never boring 😊. But most of all we enjoy working together and getting to know our customers (and their fur babies 🐶😻🐥🐰).

This is not cleaning related but we thought we’d share something that is very close to our hearts especially now with the pandemic and travel restrictions, it made us reflect on the beautiful memories we had.

In 2017 we sold most of our belongings and we took the leap to do volunteer work in Taiwan. We supported ourselves by working part time as English teachers, Sofia often came with me and helped me teach.

Our reason for the travel was to help the underprivileged Indonesian community in Taiwan to have a better life, by helping them to get close to the creator who cares so much, to help them see the practical wisdom found in the Bible and to share the hope for the wonderful future. We also assisted them with their other needs including medical and emotional support.

We also thought this would be a good experience for Sofia to learn about other cultures, and to appreciate life and not to take what we have for granted.

We returned in early 2019 and we found it to be a life changing experience, we were very overwhelmed with the kindness and generosity that the community had given us and we have gained so many beautiful lifelong friends.

We love our new uniforms which incorporate our housekeeping services. Thank you Fully Promoted Mandurah (Embroid Me Mandurah).

Did you know that our standard window cleaning includes cleaning of wardrobe and bathroom mirrors?

Also when you get the tracks cleaned, it includes ALL window and sliding door tracks including the wardrobe tracks.

We also do general housekeeping cleaning, this week we have been doing a couple of sanitising work (including floor steaming), oven cleaning, bathroom cleaning and vacate cleaning.

Not only dirty fly-screens aren’t good to look at, they block fresh air from coming in.

This is how we clean fly-screen, it may not be the fastest method but we found it to be the cleanest:

1. Dust it with a brush.
2. Wash both sides with a soapy washer (or sponge).
3 and 4. Tap the fly-screen either on the ground or with cloth to remove the soapy residue.
5. Wipe fly-screen and frame thoroughly.
6. Smile.

With the rain last week some were worried if the rain ☔️ would make their windows dirty?

The answer is surprisingly no!

Unlike the tap or ground water, rain is PURE water 💧 which leaves no residue when it dries. So if your windows are already clean, rain will not affect and dirty your windows.

However, dust and dirt makes the windows dirty, so it makes dirty windows look dirtier. Also sometimes strong wind brings in dirt.

That’s why we have a “7 day rain guarantee”. Our policy is if it rains within 7 days and your windows get dirty from the dust that the wind brings, we will come back to touch up any windows that are affected at no charge to you 😊

Did you know that amonia based glass cleaner is harmful for tinted windows? Also when windows are cleaned with cloth and glass spray, they will attract dust and leave lint residue and they will need to be cleaned again within few weeks.

We use a premium solution which does not attract dust and will leave your windows cleaned for a long time!

A customer was so pleased with the window cleaning of their holiday home in Mandurah, so they’ve hired us to do their main residence.

This week we made a scenic trip to clean this beautiful large house full of colonial windows inside and out.

The purified water brush helped cut the time and we even had spare time to clean the hard water residue from the shower screens.

When Sofia was small, we took a break from window cleaning and decided to manage this coffee shop owned by few members of our family.

Ivan didn’t know anything about coffee making but he was passionate about it. Shortly after, his coffee was well known in Maddington community and he became a barista trainer.

I guess the key to both window cleaning and coffee making is dedication and attention to detail 😆😆😆

The business was sold few years ago and it gave us an amazing opportunity to do some voluntary work overseas.
