I have the opportunity to come be apart of the team at Mandurah Body Mechanics full time, so unfortunately I will be closing the doors within South Mandurah Crossfit(Falcon).
So what does this mean for you?
You can find me still doing the same treatments, at the new location. Im available Mon-Fri with later appointments tues/thurs.

Most gyms are heading back to, so lets get you back on track and stay injury free.
It's time!
Im finally back open next week, Monday 18th, after such a necessary long time away.
I can't wait to see you all again.

Sweet potato choc chunk brownies!
Serves 6-8.
Ingredients:
1 cup diced sweet potato.
1 egg.
1/2 cup oat flour.
1 (30g) scoop choc protein powder.
1/4 cup melted coconut oil.
1/4 cup honey.
1/4 cup cocoa powder.
1/4 cup choc chips.
Method:
•Preheat oven to 160 degrees.
•Boil sweet potato until soft then drain.
•mash up with a fork until a puree forms then add to a bowl.
•mix all other ingredients together except the choc chips.
•once combined fold in the choc chips.
•pour into a small, lined baking tray and place in oven for 20-30mins.
•let chill, cut and ENJOY!

Constantly foam rolling or stretching out your lats because you think that's the reason you can't hold a decent front rack?
Or.
Do you always feel like you have to strap your wrists every time there's cleans/front squats/overhead movements programmed because they hurt?
Have a go at this test, maybe it could be your wrist flexibility that's limiting you!
Set up in front of a rig/door way,
5.5 inches for men.
4.5 inches for women.
With your longest finger on the mark, move the tip of your shoulder towards the rig, whilst maintaining palm flat.

Today sneaked in a training sesh, then I caught up with the folks and launched the kayaks out in the estuary 🛶
What did you get up to?
Great morning out raising money for the Salvation army.
Kick started with some Zumba Boot camp 🤸♂️ which i was totally out of sync 😅
Followed by a special of partner beach WoD.
Of course i can't forget about the Bbq breakfast put on afterward 🤤

💭... What if I can't do an exercise?.. What if I get sick?.. What if I only have 20 minutes?.. What if I get off track?
🤹🏻♀️🤹🏽♂️Life gets busy. Obstacles come up. You won't be "perfect" with your workout routine. We totally get it.
💥Our mantra: Do whatever you can, whenever you can do it, in any way possible. Just keep moving.
🔑 There is no "track" to get off of. There is only right now. Today.
🤔So the question becomes: What CAN you do right now to get moving?
Just one of the tools I may use during treatment.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a manual approach to massage/mobilize soft tissue in the body. I use it to help people with aches and pain, muscle tightness, mobility, restriction and more.
A few little tips to get back on track and start crushing your goals.
Prioritizing sleep, 8-9hours is recommended. Even getting just slightly under you can find yourself craving certain foods.
Lifting heavy! Who doesn't want to get strong? Plus all the other benefits, Wham-O.
Eat your colours, get plenty of variety in your diet and making sure to hit those fiber goal, your gut will thank you.
Water, even the slightest dehydration can have it's effects, ugh, headaches.
Protein: Help increase and preserve your muscle mass and help keep you fuller in between meals.

Here's to reflecting back on 2019 and realising how much the tides have changed in my career journey.
• Quit hospitality after 8 years as a chef.
• Practicing Emmett Technique full time.
• Helped over 100 people with their pain and discomfort.
• Opened up my own business space.
2020 is here and my biggest goal for this year is to assist in changing more people's lives but in order to help I need to start with me. "Fill my own cup first."
- Be more confident in myself and what I do.
- Say "I'm great" and "i'm allowed to be successful".
- Speak up and voice my own opinion.
- Let go of the excuses.
