Venture Care Support Services
A support service offering a wide variety of services so you can tell us how we can support you best.
VCSS was founded by four like-minded people who wanted to provide a service that truly was controlled by the people we support. The supports we provide are always based on your self-directed plans and goals. You let us know what you need, and we provide you the right kind of supports to reach your goals. We will always strive to help you feel safe and valued, in a positive environment where people
Exploring Avoca in between the showers. Not much water falling in the waterfall but a lovely short walk for the ambulant, BBQs and accessible toilets in the camp ground, a small number of interesting shops, market day stalls, chinese garden, a fascinating talk about the history of the railway station now housing an art gallery and the milk bar hamburgers, steak sandwiches and loaded fries come highly recommended! A big tick from the people we support.
Looking forward to this, we always learn something new and find something useful. 🤩
Helpful suggestions for children, adapt for adults because we've all been there. ❤️
Bring on the games! 🤩

We heard the people behind this clothing business speak on the radio during the week. Their compassion and commitment were loud and clear. Of particular interest was the way they have adapted clothing for those who can't tolerate hard seams, hard, itchy, slippery etc fabrics. Worth checking out!
Vegemite Museum tour, another welcoming inclusive regional venue. Vegemite choc chip marshmallow, Vegemite chocolate oreos? We were sceptical too until we tried it. That's a yes, from all of us!
Art and craft, bush tucker, demonstrations, over 30 stalls. We'll be there supporting clients, NAIDOC Week and the Community House. 🤩
CLEANING STAFF WANTED. Our cleaning services are in high demand. If you are interested in working for a locally owned and run business committed to providing next level services to NDIS clients we want to hear from you! Phone 0455261589 or email your resume to [email protected]
The week that was. We've experienced the full range of emotions at VCSS in the last week or so. Some of our clients and staff have experienced the highs and lows of major life events. Kudos to our amazing staff going above and beyond supporting people in these circumstances. A ray of light amongst it all was the arrival of this little cherub to this beautiful family. Our thoughts are with you all. ❤️
Supporting people in their passions, hobbies and interests. One very proud smile there. A little help with preparation and grilling on the BBQ and hey presto, self caught dinner is served!
Embracing winter! Some of the lovely people we support are heading to Tarnagulla tomorrow night. We might see you there! 🤩
Another regional gem. We were warmly welcomed by the monthly lunch crowd in Dunolly. So friendly, such good value. We will be back! 🤩
We're looking for a sewing machine. As pretty as this antique model is we're looking for something a little newer for some of the people we support who want to try making their own quilts. If you've got one lurking in a cupboard gathering dust we would be happy to give it a good home where it will be well loved and used.
Well said Beyond Blue and a big thankyou to the many people in the Maryborough community and businesses who speak directly to the people we support when we're out and about, with respect. Those are the businesses we return to.
