120 inch twin ram Webster and Bennet VTL Fanuc CNC retrofit and mechanical refurbishment.
12 inch hollow spindle Braodbent lathe Fanuc CNC retrofit and mechanical rebuild.

We design the foundations, pour the concrete, design and modify the machines both mechanically and electrically.
On almost all of these projects we also trained the operators, supplied the tooling and provide follow on back up service.

We supply a full machine tool service and work with suppliers world wide to meet our customers' needs.

SMV VMC currently undergoing final testing in our workshop.
This machine is going to a customer who is leasing it from us.
It has been fitted with a new GSK CNC system as the old Anilam system had failed.
All new control, spindle motor, servo motors and drives and associated electrical equipment have been installed.
Machines like this that are good mechanically but need new electronics are perfect recipients of the GSK CNC systems we fit. They come back to life for many more years of service at a fraction of new machine prices.

Currently in our workshop is this Kiheung Point-U7 milling machine.
We have given it a paint touch up of the parts that needed painting and done some small jobs on it to make sure all is OK.
We found an intermittent issue with the axis motor drive so we have a new one coming, other than that the machine is working fine.
Once the new drive is fitted and we do our usual tests it will be for sale at offers around $ 100k.
Table size is 2700mm x 750mm
A new machine of this type is priced at $ 270k so this presents good value to a buyer.

Completely new electrical system with GSK CNC control

Currently under GSK CNC upgrade is a Sachman bedmill with X travel of 2500mm.
This machine has a manual universal head with hydraulic pull stud.
It will have a completely new electrical system with 4 axis GSK 218 control.

We currently have several machines in various stages of rebuild or retriftting.

Colchester CNC lathe with 105mm spindle bore and 2000mm between centres.
This machine has a new H4 turret, new 3 and 4 jaw high speed chucks, new 3 point steady.
It has a complete new electrical system from GSK.
New X ais ballscrew.
Spindle bearing and Z axis ballscrew have passed inspection.

This machine will be offered around $ 78k ex gst with warrnty on all new parts supplied.
