✨Friday Flashback ✨ January 2018

Three gorgeous Eastern rosella fledglings - Phoenix, D’Artagnon and Cherokee.

They were the first chicks I raised as a carer, and what a joy they were.💗

All were successfully released.

Sadly we don’t see many rosellas around here like we use to with the green landscape changing to giant housing, concrete and manicured gardens.

Yum Yum
“Life is full of the most natural flavours Open your eyes and take a moment to savour them.” ~Unknown The babies getting very excited over some fresh tea tree leaves. ❤️🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 We never feed ringtail possums human food. They have a specialised gut system made for breaking down their natural diet of foliage…similar to koalas. Sadly they will eat fruit etc if offered, who doesn’t like sweets right?….but their intolerance can cause severe problems in their gut, leading to a slow and painful death. As a wildlife carer it is part of the daily responsibility to source and provide a natural diet to those entrusted in our care.💖

“He who binds to himself a joy Does the winged life destroy; But he who kisses the joy as it flies Lives in eternity's sun rise.” ~William Blake Rainbow lorikeets Cheerio and Raf💗 Helping my heart. Enjoy❤️
