Just some cuteness to start your Wednesday!

Isn't she a beaut?
Working with the adorable Elsie has been a joyous experience. Tigether with her owner we are tackling behaviors, replacing them with a newfound sense of calmness. We are also working in getting her to relax more in general. Witnessing Elsie's quick progress and being able to ignore the front door opening and a guest walking into the house in just one session (!) highlights the power of patience and in fostering a well-behaved and content .

                     

This cutie called Bruce came to me at .vic needed a little help calming down around other dogs because he would start jumping and yelling whenever they approached. During the straining session we established he is a little anxious and nervous when they approach. So together with owner we are working on making him more confident and relaxed around other dogs through lots of positive experiences.

I'll keep you updated on his progress!!!

Lately, my social media has been a bit quiet as I've dived into my new role at .vic working as a dog trainer. I'm thrilled to be leading Basic Manners and Puppy classes classes, helping pet owners build stronger connections with their furry companions.
I also give private consults to people who are experiencing some behavioural challenges with their dogs.

This photo is the graduation of my first Puppy Class and look at how cute all the doggies are. I can honestly say I sometimes loose track of what I am saying because I get distracted by these cute little floofs.

While my online presence might be subdued, I'm enthusiastically channeling my energy into creating positive and lasting changes for both dogs and their owners in real life. 🐾

Just trying to make a cute fluffy dog butt post of today's dog crew! Im always so happy to walk behind these tiny dogs looking at their fuffy tails and happy wiggly wags.

Is it sweater weather yet? PingPong and Remy say yes!

This is a good sand pit....

Look at these two gorgeous labs cooling down in their shell after some intense training! (also how cute is that dribble!)

Together with Poppy and Willows owners we are working on loose lead walking, recall, ignoring distractions, how to introduce these two lovely dogs to other dogs and to stay put.

They are catching in really quickly !

                     

Meet Bear!

Together with his owner we are teaching this lovable lab how to walk on a lead without pulling.

Recently he has started growling at people and dogs and we are working towards Bear feeling more comfortable around strange dogs and people!

                     

Look at this gorgeous boy Olly!

This amazing black lab likes playing rough and pulling on the lead.

So together with his owner we are working on becoming a bit more calm and walking with a slack leash.
Besides this we are training to do the most amazing sit and down stay.

With a little training each day we will see improvements really soon!

 

Remember Arlo? He had regular accidents in his home.

After a couple of weeks of training by his very dedicated human he is really starting to understand that the inside of the house is not a toilet! Yay, for not waking up to pees and poops!

His recall has also significantly improved! After just three weeks his recall is 90% reliable in a low distraction environment! What an incredible accomplishment for such a short time! He is still learning but soon he will be able to recall reliably anywhere!

Remember Violet?
Her and her owners have been working very hard on walking neatly next to her owners without pulling and the result has been impressive! I am very proud how far she has come in just a couple of weeks of training.
She is staying on the left hand side and no longer crossing over to the right hand side and walking neatly next to her person's leg!
She has also learned to ignore the doorbell a little more and sit down while greeting people who come into the house!

Well done to Violet and her humans!

                     

Meet Arlo! This beautiful boy is a bit confused about where he is allowed to go to the toilet and still sometimes accidentally goes inside (oops!). Together with his owner we are working on teaching him where exactly that toilet is and when to go.
Besides this we are working on creating an awesome recall even when there are lots of distractions around!

                     

The Tiny Pack is back!! During snake season when it's a bit too risky to walk in the bush we will be socializing in a doggie play paradise! Foxie is just showing you how great this sandpit is!

Every Monday and Thursday your tiny pooch can come hang with the Tiny Pack and make friends and have loads of fun.

Meet this beautiful fluffy girl Violet Crumble! Violet gets very excited when she sees other dogs and sometimes forgets her manners a little!

Together with her owners we have been working on “saying hello” in a calmer more structured manner we have also been learning to walk to the park without walking in front of someones feet.

This girl is very motivated to work for food so she will learn these new skills in no-time!

                                                       

This cute Border Collie is Arlo! Arlo gets super excited when people come over and sometimes he forgets his manners a little bit because if it.

Together with his owner we have been working on him staying in a sit and not jumping up on visitors and on staying more calm in the house when visitors are around.

Because its super-exciting to go to the park and Arlo we have also been working on loose lead walking.

Who is this adorable cutie?

It's Winter! She is a 10 month old Mini Daschie and her mum came to me to get some help with questions about teaching this tiny puppy that toileting is to be done outside on the grass and not inside on the floor or the rug. She is also learning to ignore the children of the household when they are running around and not make a sport out of nipping their hands and pants.

Luckily Winter is as smart as she is happy and with a little bit of training she will catch on really quickly!


                   

This adorable and happy man called Wayne and his mum have been training really hard.

This means that Wayne has been doing really well learning to sleep in his own bed at night.

This happy girl Zaela has LOT'S of energy! But sometimes that means she forgets to listen.

We have been working on improving her recall, specifically in the dog park. We also worked on some more manners and etiquette around greeting guests and other dogs.

It was so great to meet this lovely girl!

It's happening! In addition to Tiny Thursdays we will now also be planning adventure walks for Tiny Dogs on Mondays!

Yay for Mini Mondays!

This socialisation walk is specifically for small dogs up to 5kg so they can have a good time with similar sized friends!

Owning a dog is amazing, they give us so much joy and unconditional love! One of the best ways to let our dogs live their best and happiest is to train our dogs so they become confident in all environments, whether this is at home, out on the street or in the park. One way to achieve a happy pooch is to create positive experiences for them everywhere you go. Things like doing some fun training or playing with their favourite toy will get you a long way to that fun, happy, relaxed time.
