Growing army of deer folk 🦌

I need to go and get them fired, but I'm very worried they won't survive the trip 😅
I'm undecided how to glaze them after the fire firing, can't decide between oxide washes or full on kitschy colours 🌈

They're all made with a white stoneware paperclay, it's great for handbuilding and it's pretty forgiving when it comes to re-attaching broken limbs

I need to get around to scanning this little guy so I can print copies, I think it'd look so cute as an itty bitty miniature 🤏

It's made with a my little pony base, apoxie clay sculpted octopus and eyes, mohair mane and painted with acrylics.

It's really exciting being able to start doing things like this again as my health slowly improves. It's been a very rough few years and it's really nice to be able to do things like this and be a part of such a supportive community 💜

I've been going to ceramics classes at the community centre for a few months and I'm definitely in love with a new medium 😍. Such a fun combination of sculpting, engineering and chemistry!

I sculpt the original with clay and then make a silicone mould to cast the resin into. I then sand the pieces and add the jewellery attachments 🛠️

She's made using apoxie sculpt over a g4 MLP base. Unfortunately the paint isn't my best work, but she's just for my personal collection so it doesn't matter too much 😅

Throwback to one of the first resin art dolls I made 🐠🦦
The original body was sculpted out of clay and used to make a silicone mould. The body is made from solid resin and handprinted with pastels 🌈

I finally got around to setting up my resin printer and I've been having a lot of fun printing out the little figures I've been sculpting 😁
