A word from Erin:
Hi everyone! I am the tutor and director of CTP Education. I was home educated until Year 10 (including variations of online classes), and I then attended high school for VCE and graduated with an ATAR of 99.15. I am now studying fourth year Law and Human Rights to pursue the chance for everybody to access education equally across the world. I decided to start CTP Education because I am incredibly passionate about education and noticed a gap in what is offered to home-schooling families. I aim to take the best of what I have experienced myself in different educational contexts, combining love for learning with material skills that equip students to follow their aspirations. I make my classes as engaging and fun as possible as it is my job to have my students feel safe to express their concerns and queries, as the best learning comes from curiosity. I have now been tutoring online for over five years and love sharing my knowledge with others.

Did you know that the 9 times tables are made up of 5 numbers - only half way through they begin to reverse?
For example:
2 x 9 = 18; and 9 x 9 = 81.
3 x 9 = 27; and 8 x 9 = 72.
Same numbers, just in reverse!
If you’re looking for your children to know more facts like this (as well as memorising their times tables), I am running a Times Tables Crash Course this term that will do this exact thing!

"Erin has been tutoring our son in Maths for almost 12 months. She quickly developed a strong and productive rapport with him. He loves Maths and finds his sessions with Erin challenging and enjoyable. She was always organised and used technology effectively to communicate concepts. I provided her with the curriculum topics for both my son's current year and the following year, and she was able to work through both years with him.
My son did not attend school Maths class through lockdown, and Erin was able to extend him to reach an above average level for the year above his current grade (assessed through end of year PAT test at high school) with only 1 hour of tutoring each week.
We are continuing Maths tutoring with Erin to ensure our son is engaged and extended appropriately in Maths. I highly recommend Erin's Maths tutoring - as parents we have found it efficient, easy and effective."
