We lost power this week for a couple days and between that and the extremely hot weather before not alot was achieved, but I did manage to find these beauties 😁
They are a little rough around the edges but don't let that put you off, I'm thinking high end coastal/hamptons look.

Katea recently contacted me looking for bedsides for her spare room.
I didn't have any in my inventory but shortly after, I located this gorgeous pair. I knew that if they didn't suit her, I'd have no shortage of takers.
She loved them immediately and with a quick check to make sure they would fit in her space, she secured them.
Painted in the classic Midnight Blue,
with new gold k***s and lined drawers to finish the look of this elegant pair

This dresser was also completed for Lisa. The gorgeous Chestler was chosen to add a jewel tone pop colour to this vintage piece.

I've been busy with custom work again so I'm bit quiet on here but I'll be showing what I've been working over the next few days.
This is a matching set I did for the lovely Lisa.
Though they were purchased from the same shop and look the same the chest of drawers doesn't have a solid top, so we had to pivot and paint instead of having them match the bedsides, I still think they look great.
Painted in Stirling, which is a cool light grey.
The top was stained to match the new pulls my client supplied.
It's a great update to what was a dark stained set.

Now Available
This was an old gentleman's wardrobe that I converted into a drinks cabinet.
So due the age of the piece I gave it a moody speakeasy vibe
Painted in a dark charcoal inside and out with the exterior black waxed to give it a vintage feel.
A new timber shelf was added for extra storage and to provide contrast.
Textured detail adds to the overall feel of the piece and the inside of the drawers has been lined with a complimentary print.
New hardware from Beautifully Handled added to complete the look.

I forgot to post this earlier, but this a cute little pedestal table I painted for an existing client.
Midnight blue for the body and I decoupaged over the green leather top with some complementary paper.

Probably my last piece before Xmas, but you never know🤔
This hardwood beauty has been finished inside and out with the stunning Bayberry and the timber top and shelves finished with Raven.
I normally like to keep the vintage hardware but most were broken. So I sourced the perfect timber pulls from Beautifully Handled to modernise the piece.
Finally the drawers and backing have been lined with a beautiful Melbourne made print which compliments the piece.

This was a dark timber piece that no longer suited Nichole and her family but it also had sentimental value.
So updated to Navy with a light blue for the contrasting details 💙

I've been a bit quite lately, I've been working on a few client pieces and this is one of them.
Jenny had moved to Sorento and wanted these bedside tables to go with her more coastal feel home. So a nice white with new k***s completely changed the look.

This one took alot longer to sell than I expected but it went to a person who loved it so I'm very pleased.

Well this vintage glass cabinet is finally done.
Painted in a stunning blue with gold as the accent.
The back has been hand stencilled with gold gilding to give it just right amount shimmer.
Perfect to store glassware or as a cocktail bar as it has lockable doors.
The glass shelves are also adjustable and a 3rd one could be added if needed.

This vintage hardwood piece will make a perfect little hall or console table.
I knew this one need a lighter touch and once I sanded all the red stain from the top and saw the gorgeous wood underneath, my idea was set.
