We are sad to announce that end of this year December 31st we will be closing down WS Tropical Fish.

Its a hard decision to make and over the last 2 years we have taken in and rehomed over 1500 gorgeous fish.

I have started a full time apprenticeship and finding it hard to water change, medicate, pick up fish, take in fish, and adopt out and clean 10 plus tanks a day and have barely any time to focus on my personal tanks and lockdown isn't making it better either.

This rescue has been one of the most fulfilling adventures I have ever been on and I'm grateful for every single one of you from adopters, followers, those who shared us to your friends and to the friends we have made along the way❤

We will still be open until then taking in mostly sick and injured fish but unfortunatly all good adventures must come to an end!

We are open to moving on the Rescue to someone else with as much drive and passion if someone was interested as long as they are invested in this commitment, have the space and tanks and will only use this amazing rescue I've created for the better :)

I absolutely love and adore you all and will be sure to try and do something amazing at the end of the year for you all❤

Managed to get some gorgeous videos of our betta looking for homes!

Feckles is a Blue and White DeltaTail male betta and is one of the biggest betta we have had in!
Him and his brother Munchkin came from the same loving family who were unfortunately moving away!

Munchkin is an unknown tail type so far as his tail is recovering from fin rot but he is a Giant Betta breed! He is huge! And absolute amazing colours, we believe he may be a halfmoon or a deltatail as well!

Both fish are not so great with top and mid swimming tank mates, but have shown no signs of aggression towards any bottom dwellers (shrimp are unknown).

Both boys have some lumps, we had Freckles lump (on his left side) tested and shown no signs of being cancerous and was just excess tissue growth, Munchkin we were told he had Gas bubble disease over a year ago and the small bubbles near his top fin just never went away so nothing to worry about now!
