Boujie baby! We LOVE this lounge room and so pumped to hand it over to

The brief was super hard given we knocked down their whole home and started fresh and a super tight budget to turn into 5 star hotel vibes BUT so happy with what we achieved. The layout of the room was a bit tricky because we knew Jacinta loves to cook and entertain so we knew the lounge room would be a hub for her family and friends to congregate. We felt there had to be a connection with the kitchen so placing the lounges in a more “formal” conversational layout felt right for us so whoever’s in the kitchen didn’t have everyone’s backs to them. Sneaky plus you can fully lay down and watch tv 😉

Our marble coffee table was also hand made for us from a design we drew and we loved the finished product! It brought in bit of Lara and Peter’s marble into our space so there was a sense of flow with the stone colours. We would have loved to have wrapped our fireplace in marble but have you seeeeeen how big this big boy is! Offcuts ain’t going to cut it 😂

WIP adding more and more layers to this beauty. I can only apply a small amount of water each time as the base is canson cotton rag paper so it’s extremely important to waiting for dry time between layers

New WIP loving being a bit freer with this piece.

It was both humbling and inspiring to hear each of their stories, and about the brilliant work that these organisations are doing in their communities. Not to mention, the experience of pulling such an event together was as fun as it was fulfilling.⁠
