Another member of the team here at Swell Blades. This is Bell ⚡️ She loves witnessing the boost in self-esteem that comes with a new haircut. The makeover appointments are the real highlights, where she gets to help people find their groove again. Cutting shags, curly hair, and fringes is her forever passion—there’s a perfect fringe for every face!

Bell is a knitting enthusiast who loves bush walks with her dog and seeing live music. She’s here for chats about movies, dogs, podcasts, travel, and discussing environmental and social topics (and, of course, the weather).

Paragon 9’7 Avocado ⚡️ Now in stock!!

The PARAGON is a workhorse for the traditional longboarder. A “Classic” California inspired stepdeck, designed to be extremely neutral. Very fast and loose off the tail and stable on the nose for pocket tip riding. The Paragon has a very even rocker profile with a slight step deck and edge in the tail which allows this board to flow and maneuver with ease while remaining a versatile noserider. A blended but deep concave in the nose with a modern down rail in the tail allows you to push through and drive out of your bottom turns and carry speed through your cutbacks. The Paragon is a favorite of the whole team.

This is Ryan, the newest member of the Swell Blades team. He takes pride in his work and prioritizes making his clients look good and feel great! For fun he’s usually either in the gym working towards the next bodybuilding competition. He’s here for sports, camping, cars and gym chats and loves learning new things from clients.

Ryan’s favourite hairstyle at the moment is definitely a nice clean mid skin fade but he loves being able to add flair and style to every haircut, even the simplest.

As many of you know this is Manu, the founder of Swell Blades 💈 We thought we’d do some intro posts so you’re all familiar with who’s cutting your hair.

Manu is inspired by classic old school Barbering and Hairdressing techniques and likes working on creative dos tailored to each clients needs and style.

When he’s not in the shop you’ll find him spending time with the fam and friends (preferably outdoors), surfing and enjoying music!
