Jumping into the online world was not part of my plan a little over 12 months ago.
My comfort zone was set in stone, which sadly involved working 6-7 days a week 😟 not much of a life right?
But I was shown a system, an opportunity that sounded insane, even a little bit too good if I'm honest.
But after watching, hearing and meeting enough people who were absolutely smashing it right in front of me, I started to believe.
My decision to step out of my comfort zone and do something totally foreign to me will be one of the best decisions I will make in my time. Not just for myself, but for my whole family 💥 and I get to achieve my goals by doing what I love doing most - fishing 🎣

It's always my aim to have minimal work to do when I'm fishing, for example, there is nothing worse than needing set up a rig again and again after losing it on a snag or getting busted off by a fish.

To prepare for this situation, I like to have 10 small sandwich bags in my tackle box with each containing the rigs I am using for what I'm targeting. For snapper, I have my desired hook or hooks fixed to a length of leader with a swivel on the opposite end and a small size 1 ball sinker.
If I need to rig a rod up, i just slid the sinker onto the main line and tie to the swivel.

What hacks do you have that either save time or do anything that makes life a little easier or improve your catch rates etc? Keen to hear a few new ideas 🙌

Rare, overdue session on the calamari with my old man a few days back.

This photo was taken at just after midnight on Friday night, looks like sunrise or sunset, big full moon and not a cloud in the sky or a breath of wind for hours, it was pretty comfortable fishing 👌🔥

Fishing one of my old spots over the weekend, I caught my first Jew on soft plastics. It was the smallest one I've ever caught but still a nice surprise 🎣
Excuse the poor photography, it managed to wrap around a large bolt on the post half way between the water and where I was fishing, once I untangled it and took then plastic from its mouth, I was in quite a rush to get it back in the water to become the monster I catch in a few years time ✊

Being limited to land based fishing for a few weeks has taken me back to some of the places I used to fish when I was young before I had my tinnie.
Sometimes we get so lost chasing the best places to go, that we forget what we have in our own backyard 🏡🌏

piers/jetties the last fortnight or so, still managing go get onto some fish.
