Only 2 more sleeps until the Box Hill Village Christmas Market, this Saturday from 10am-2pm at 3-5 Ellingworth Pde, Box Hill.

It might be a bit wet, but that's not stopping us from creating a festive and friendly space to come and connect with your community, and to do some Christmas shopping for those unique, locally created gifts for that hard-to-buy-for someone!

And we'll have the BBQ going with the Box Hill Baptist Boatbuilding/Men's Shed crew, and the ever delightful Shwe's Kitchen Australia

Plus free fairy floss and face painting for the kids (or adults if you're so inclined!!)

It's less than 2 weeks until our long,-awaited Christmas Village Market on the 9th of December! And we've got a delightful selection of local makers, creators and traders who are looking forward to sharing their passions and wares with you - A wonderful chance to pick up some special gifts and unique treats!

Plus we've got free face painting and treats for the kids, and plenty of food for everyone while you shop and enjoy the Christmas festivities!

It's just one month until our Christmas Village Market on the 9th of December - and we've got a wonderful array of stallholders ready to share their passions with you and help you get those Christmas presents sorted.

We do have a few tables left, so if you know of any local makers or stallholders who'd be keen to be involved, get in touch! Even if you've got some young ones who are trying their hand at starting a local craft business, we'd love to support them!

(And if there's any local musicians who'd love an opportunity to share their music in the heart of Box Hill, get in touch too!!)

It was a brisk, breezy Saturday but that didn't stop us from celebrating Easter in the Village Market style!

The Easter Village Market is coming up this Saturday! And what do we have in store??

- Free face painting, kids activities and fairy floss
- Feed yourself with the BHBC BBQ and Shwe's ever amazing Burmese food!
- A wonderful array of craft stalls including faithsoycandles Allie Starbuck Ben's Bees Susie Roberts The Artful Slipknot and more!

It's all undercover, so whatever the weather, pop to 3-5 Ellingworth Parade between 10-2 to join with your community and share in that Easter vibe together!

(Easy parking in Harrow St and Ellingworth Parade, or better yet, ride, walk, or bus up!)

Less than 2 weeks until the next Village Market on the 1 April, with an Easter flavour!

We'll have a wonderful array of familiar and new stallholders to share the wares with you, and some festive kids activities, food and friendship. So pop in on Saturday between 10 and 2 - we'd love to see you!

With lots of your favourite stallholders, plus plenty of new faces and the friendly vibe that we're delighted to be known for with lots of fun for everyone.

A beautiful day for a truly wonderful Christmas Market! It was great to see so many from our local community join in, grab some wonderful gifts and treats, and spend some time with some other people from our local village!

Thanks to everyone who came, and especially all those who helped make it happen - including our stallholders, volunteers and everyone else who contributed to an amazing day!

Just over two weeks until a very exciting Christmas market, with an amazing array of local stallholders, including gifts, candles, cookies, honey, accessories, body products, craft, crystals and more! (See below for the who's who...)

Food provided with a bbq by Box Hill Baptist Church and the ever amazing Shwe Sin Thet!

And entertainment by a great local band headed up by Andy Harris and the incredible Box Hill Community Choir.

Plus we'll have kids activities, photo opportunities, and just the amazing vibe when the Box Hill community gets together. We'll be going ahead, rain or shine, so we look forward to seeing you there!!

Less than one month until a very special Christmas-themed Village Market on Saturday the 10th of December!! We hope you're all popping that date into your calendars for a wonderful community day.

And if you are a local maker or creator who would love to take part as a stallholder, please get in touch and book your stall asap! They are only $30 and we'd love to chat about how we can make the day an enjoyable success for you, and the community!

We are returning for a pre-Christmas Summar fair on the 10th of December, with planning in the works for an abundance of diverse stallholders and festive activities for the whole family. Follow our FB page to keep up to date with all of it as it comes together.

If you're a local creator, artist or maker wanting to get involved please get in touch - we'd love to have you running a stall and meeting your local community in a fun, festive environment!

(We are also on the lookout for people who like what this is all about and would like to be involved in being part of an organising committee for these quarterly, seasonal fairs. If you'd love to be involved in helping grow the Village Market, get in touch!)

On Saturday I popped down to Box Hill Village Market which is arranged by Box Hill Baptist Church and their Pastor Eddie Chapman.

They do great work in our community 👏

What a beautiful day for a Spring Market!!

Thanks to all the amazing, talented stallholders and the local community for coming together for a truly enjoyable Spring Village Market. The weather certainly turned out for us today and we loved seeing old and new friends come together in the sunshine!

We look forward to seeing you again at our Summer/Christmas market, on the 10th of December!

It's on today!!

Pop on down between 10 and 2 Saturday to browse through the wares of some local creators, grab a sausage or egg & bacon roll, a free fairy floss for the kids (or yourself - we won't judge!!), and perhaps plant a seedling or two in the spirit of Spring!!

It's looking pretty good for this coming Saturday's Market - but whether the weather is fine, rainy or windy, we'll be going ahead- the only difference being all our wonderful stallholders may move inside!

So whatever the weather, we look forward to seeing you there from 10am-2pm. The free fairy floss machine will be up and running again, and we've added egg & bacon rolls to the bbq (in addition to the expected sausage sizzle!), plus free seedling planting and stallholders with everything from candles and honey to jewellery and free range eggs!

Just over one week to go our next Village Market, and a chance to celebrate Spring after a long hard winter!

Come and join us as we offer some free seedling planting to take home for the kids to get them into the Spring spirit, and you can reward their hard work with a free fairy floss as well!

After an amazing first Easter market back in April, we are officially back for Spring 2022 and then 4 times a year from then on!!

And once again, we are inviting all local creators, makers, crafties and foodies who might want to hold a stall to get in touch to book one! The feedback from our first stallholders was incredibly positive and we look forward to building a regular community around these events.

And you don't even need to be a full-blown business - If you've got some kids who'd love to build some entrepreneurial skills, or simply share their crafty passion with the community, we'd love to include them too.

(To help ensure these events are sustainable, a modest stallholder fee of $30 is being put in place.)
