Amore Di Alfa — For All Alfisti
Rest In Peace Charles . We will wear your stickers with pride.
There are many reasons to own an but these are the main two. As the nears completion we are dreaming of finding some windy corners…after the school drop! 🍀❤️
History repeating. Wonderful shot from of working on the restoration of an captured by .ca and an almost identical shot of the original assembly line at Arese some 55 years beforehand. 🍀❤️
Looks like this stunning Biancospino is changing custody from to to sit alongside the wonderful Rat Super he already has. Amazing image by ❤️🍀
We love related art at the best of times but when it’s of the best angle of a we are head over heels! Amazing painting by - love your work! ❤️🍀
Amazing Giardiniera recreation in progress by - massive appreciation for the wheel work and the gas welding - possibly as we have had a crack and both are very hard to master! ❤️🍀
Happy new year Alfisti! Kicking 2022 off with a beautiful shot of an an and some other car at garage brilliantly captured by ❤️🍀
From where you would rather be. Lovely shot of out on the taken by - enjoy the weather fellas! ❤️🍀
That step. You nose and loves it.
Junior captured by in Tokyo. ❤️🍀
Changing up the usual 105 slant we have developed, we recently stumbled across these wonderful shots of the 1976 Navajo concept by for captured masterfully by - check out that futuristic and of course this post comes with a Spoiler Alert!!🍀❤️
Lovely California based 1967 owned by shot by for - check out the article via their feed written by another Alfa fan 🍀❤️
Next up on ‘Restoration Appreciation’ is the Prince of Ricambi Originali or as we like to call him ‘NOSferatu’ - - As you can see from these images that illustrate a very lengthy thread on the , Pancho has an eye for details! These photos are only a small portion of what he is up to but we doff our hat to you sir. Love your work! ❤️🍀
This weeks Restoration Appreciation is the of - apart from the stunning colour selection, all the work was completed by Rob and his dad INCLUDING the paint. Hats off. Looks the business! Never sell it. 😉🍀❤️
Love this amazing illustration which seems to be on the cover of a children’s book featuring a ‘potente’ ! Anyone know anything more about it? Love to get hold of a copy. ❤️🍀
We are loving this shot of with his 1300 on the salt flats at Bonneville. You can sense the anticipation of speed! (And the sound of salt munching on Arese’s finest steel) 🍀❤️ Check out Cliff’s feed for more great shots.
Next up on our Restoration Appreciation series - although this one is pushing the titles boundaries - is this Smoothnose GT that is having a engine transplanted into it by - We can remember the early threads on the AlfaBB where many people were calling Jeff crazy but the proof is in his wonderful YouTube channel where amazing skill and craft meet creative solutions to all kinds of problems that crop up on this journey. Do yourself a favour if you aren’t watching already and give him a subscribe. Love your work Jeff! ❤️🍀
What a find! Not sure how many designer are here? But we LOVE a brand guideline document, especially an one from 1980. Thanks for for unearthing these images. Who doesn’t love a ‘Dont’s’ page?!?
We admit we are a little ‘Super crazy’ at the moment as we await the arrival of ours, but this race prepped owned by is getting us hot under the collar. If you check their feed you’ll see the race livery but we found this B/W version that emphasises the Super lines brilliantly. 🍀❤️
Next up on Restoration Inspiration (think the title is sticking) is Geoff Caruana’s project. We have been following this meticulous restoration of his which is currently looking amazing in primer. Not far to go till Bluette! Tune into his Youtube Channel of the same name to keep up with his amazing progress…there may be some sanding. 😀❤️🍀
The next restoration inspiration (is that a title?!?) takes us to Dießen am Ammersee in Germany where is lovingly restoring his beautiful Verde olivia metallizzato - love your work Sir! (Even if you do have a passion for certain cars starting with ‘P’ as well 😀) 🍀❤️
Something for the weekend? Stunning shot by of a gracing the streets of London.
Next up in our series of appreciation for amazing restoration work around the world is the himself Mr - Here is his restoration in all it’s raw aluminium beauty. Stunning work that’s so good it would be a shame to paint it! 🍀❤️
As we slowly progress with our own restoration, we thought we would shine the spotlight on some of the amazing restorers around the world that have inspired us to give it a crack. We first remember from his ‘Dargle to Dargle’ journey on the AROCA forums. If you don’t already watch his channel on YouTube then do yourself a favour for a little Alfa inspired escape via South Africa. Love your work sir! ❤️🍀
There is something incredibly exciting about seeing a ‘nude’ - maybe it’s that you know at this stage that it is rust free? (Maybe) Or that the Giugiaro lines seem purer in bare metal? After spending the weekend stripping panels on the we can fully appreciate the many hours that it takes to get a car to this stage….and the many that follow to completion. Thanks to .veldhuizen for the amazing image of work by .stefano 💪
Keeping with the illustration theme - reposting one of our favourite images by the super talented .allen - Just need a print of it for the garage! (Maybe Guy can be persuaded!) 🍀❤️
Hope you all caught this amazing project by .goods and managed to get your choices in on how it progressed. We are super stoked that Andrew included our decal on the final model along with .racing - Swipe for the whole build progression. Thanks again Andrew! ❤️🍀
Ok, you are loving this as much as we do! Here is the second half of ‘Alfa At Work - Operation Giulia’. Here we can see some amazing temperature testing of the and information on the secret testing track at Vercelli! Enjoy and let us know what you think in the comments. ❤️🍀
Our post about the aerodynamics seemed to be a hit with a lot of you so we thought we would share the full article that some of the images were originally from. The article titled ‘Alfa At Work - Operation Giulia’ was published in 1965 and opens the curtain on the magic of the Alfa testing facility. This is one of two posts of the entire document. Enjoy and let us know what you think in the comments. ❤️🍀
When a car even looks good on a Jack, you know it’s love. Great shot by .jpg of the 💪🍀❤️
One of the most beautiful elements of the in our opinion is the curved, angled, and scalloped body which is said to have been ‘Designata dal vento’ or ‘Designed by the wind’. Perhaps the most striking section is the Kamm tail or ‘Coda Tronca’ which, as you can see on swipe, has helped give the Super a drag coefficient of 0.34. The same as a Porsche 911.
Ok we are getting a bit addicted to images of Alfas at Speeeed!
Great shot here of a screaming at Laguna Seca captured perfectly by .goods ❤️🍀
The guys certainly know how to build and drive a 105. Racing here at Spa-Francorchamps. ❤️🍀 Photography by
Love the idea and images from this great night run down in the South of England. Nine lovely examples of the turned out including this beauty owned by and others like favourite of ours. Check the story and wonderful pics by over at .com 🍀❤️
While we are on the subject of speed, who wouldn’t want to be out on the roads of Cortina d’Ampezzo in this lovely smoothnose captured masterfully by 🍀❤️ Did someone say fog lights?!?
Can almost hear the Weber’s on AKA ‘s awesome in it’s secret mix of metallic grey. What a beast! 🍀❤️💪
Lovely shot of 1300 in Grigio Indaco (what a colour!) out in the twisties. If you haven’t watched his YouTube videos in this car you are missing out. We have been trawling them recently as it’s the closest we can get to driving one! Not long now....🍀❤️
We have been fans of Andrew work for a long time now so when he recently launched this little project we got just a bit excited. Go check out the concept on his page, give him a follow and check out his stories to be a part of the restoration process. Such a cool idea. We can’t wait to see how this little build pans out, and might even get an sticker on there somewhere if you guys vote for it! 🍀❤️💪
Perhaps one of Alfa’s greatest and most recognisable assets, the Scudetto or ‘Little Sheild’ was originally used on the Alfa 8C 2900B Touring and has since been adapted and refined by the likes of Bertone and Pinninfarina over the years. Whether you call it a ‘Shield’ or ‘Heart’ (Guess which we like) it’s hard to not love each iteration of the classic grille shape. Amazing photography as always by and
Having spent a small amount of time on an English Wheel at we are blown away by the skill and beauty of this stunning recreation by - just 😍
If there has ever been a shot of someone enjoying their more, we would love to see it. Another great shot of .gt pushing his to the limit - reminds us of the classic Steve McQueen shot on the swipe. ❤️🍀💨
