A big Thank You 🙏 to everyone for your patience with Karen and Sandra getting back to all the calls and messages we have received… this is still a challenging time for us to navigate through.
So with not long to go now… We are COVID safe … and are salon ready!!! We still have our screens up for your comfort and we have now added an Air purifier to clean the air without having to have the front door open, our back door is always open!!
We have returned all calls to people who missed appointments due to lockdown. We are fully booked to mid November with only a few appointments left. December is very limited, so get in quick to secure an appointment!!

Wasn’t sure when we were going to come out of this pandemic back then, and we are back here again in Iso, but we are looking forward to coming back to work very soon!

I’m lost on where we’re at.. is it lockdown 5.2 or 6.0?
After a full on week working through our list of missed appointments because of the lockdown, here we are again.
I’m trying not to pull my hair out. 😫
Once we get the directive of reopening we will be in touch with all clients that have now had their appointments temporarily paused.

Karen and Sandra now have a little breathing space and apologize for not being able to get in touch with everyone for hair appointments. We have been doing crazy hours and the phone was ringing off the hook trying to accommodate you all, and we have been doing lots of big hair repairs and new Do’s on our lovely guests.

Makes you appreciate all the hard work we have done throughout the last 3 months in lockdown.
We did do it tough we were challenged but we have come out of this stronger and better than ever and we are going to continue to move forward try and beat it. We have to stay safe and well and look after one another to have as much of a covid normal as we can.

Hairessence & co COVID-19 POLICY

When you arrive to the salon the door will be locked please wait outside and we will text when to make your way into the salon.

We are requesting all guests cancel their appointment if:

•They have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19
•They are awaiting COVID-19 test results or have had a positive result
•They have returned from overseas in the last 14 days or recently left hotel quarantine
•If they are feeling unwell or have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing or they should be self-isolating for any other reason

Upon entry to the salon:

•Masks are mandatory to attend your appointment and you must supply your own
•Request you sanitize your hands
•Ask if you have updated your details online through the link provided with your reminder message
•Will take your temperature and we will reschedule anyone over 37.7 degrees
•We won’t be providing you with any magazines, you are free to bring your own mags book ipad (salon wifi available)

As well as the above we continue with the following:

•Ensuring clients are spaced over 1.5 meters apart
•Following WHO hand washing instructions
•Sterilizing all equipment and stations after every use
•Online booking is currently turned off so we can manage all bookings.

We are limiting the maximum number of clients within this salon to 4 so you are unable to bring any guests including children to your appointment. Until further notice.

I’ve been at the salon all day getting ready for our reopening!!! Yay 😀 (and I’m still here!!)
We now have COVID safe screens for your protection! Just waiting for one more screen to come in tomorrow for the front desk!
A deep clean has been done right through the salon 💇🏼‍♀️
We have been busy rebooking previous clients that had missed their appointments due to us being closed down in August.

Please be understanding that we have been closed for 12 weeks and there is only 8 weeks till Christmas. We will do our best to get you booked in.
We will contact you regarding appointments.
Please again I ask for your patience 🙏

In regards to your booking due to your increased regrowth and fading, you will be reassessed
And your appointment time will be longer than our average service.
Costing on your color work will be 2-3 times as much work to previous color for us to achieve the same result. We will offer you a quote prior to your service.

Cancellation/Change of time
Please if you are not feeling well or have any FLU /COVID symptoms please call us immediately.
At this time we cannot change appointments around.

A COVID-19 policy will be up on our page later this evening.

Dear Guests

Due to the confusion surrounding reopening after the last lockdown and with the day brought forward to the 19th October and not the 26th October, ( we were excited to come back to work earlier ) we have paused taking any appointments until we have a confirmed date from the Government.

Unfortunately due to the latest clusters, we are feeling there will be a possibility that we could still end up in the lockdown a little longer.

Missed appointments
We have a record of all appointments that were not fulfilled due to the current extended lockdown. We have been working through these appointments to reschedule accordingly.

Karen & Sandra will be in contact once we have clarification on a date to reopen.

we are remaining open during this 2nd lockdown for the time being. We are adhering to covid19 hygiene procedures and will address the situation day by day and if any outbreaks in the Whitehorse and Manningham areas continue to rise, we will then reassess business.

For the safety of our clients we are only allowed 4 guests in the salon.

We will NOT be taking new guests at this current time.
