Double Eco-Whammy! 🍃 Both of our latest Eco Project brews are now on tap! Eco Project: Fresh Hop IPA. 🍺 We've loaded the whirlpool up with 20kg of freshly harvested, certified sustainable Victoria hop cones from our good friends at Ryefield Hops, before dry hopping with Ryefield Victoria and Chinook. Sticky, green and piney hop notes with hints of citrus and stone fruit Eco Project: Gin Botanical Sour. 🍻 A sour crafted with regenerative organic grain, sustainable hops and locally propagated yeast. For a unique twist, we've infused this brew with over 200kg of spent gin botanicals from renowned Melbourne distilleries (Imbue, That Spirited Lot, Patient Wolf, and Bass & Flinders) for a refreshing brew that is both eco-conscious and full of flavour Both are currently on tap, and also available for take away.
In conjunction with our upcoming Beer Choir, we'll be raising funds for Noah's Ark Children's Home. Later this year, members from Makepisi will be heading over to South Africa to help renovate and refurbish their kitchen. $1 from every Vienna Lager across May will go towards helping them achieve their fundraising goals.
We've wanted to go as fresh as possible with our next Eco Project brew and loaded up 20kg of fresh hops into the whirlpool thanks to our friends Ryfield Hops . Not long now, who's keen?!
We’re so excited to release this new collaboration between ourselves and @jarrahboy. Njarala - Native Botanical Lager. We’ve spoken about Jarrah Boy and what to expect from this crisp, refreshing lager, now we turn to the artist behind the can design. Designed by local artist Madison @yarli_creative , Madison is a proud and strong Yorta Yorta, Dja Dja Wurrung, and Gamilaroi woman, who embraces her rich heritage and traditions and allows them to shape her artistic approaches. In this can design, Madison’s connection to the environment shines through as she aims to embody the full essence of her heritage and make her mob proud. Njarala means to listen, to hear and collaborate and we couldn’t be prouder of this new beer and the collaboration that brought this to fruition. Come in and try some today.
This Monday night, we welcome back Makepisi! This sensational South African acappella group will be singing contemporary and traditional South African songs.
