Lately I’ve been feeling a little unmotivated to get things done.

My kids keep me busy with everyday life it just only happens with my small business! Some days I’m just forcing myself to post just to keep the engagement up.

The one thing I do have is discipline and I learnt this very early on in my life. I’m so glad I’ve taught myself to push through and get back onto the wagon.

So when I’m in a rut or not feeling like putting my small biz owner hat on I go for a walk. Fresh air always clears my mind and I’m ready to get stuck into building my small business again!

5 facts about me!

I haven’t introduced myself yet so here is a little more about me, the owner behind zandcolabels. My name is Yaz and these are 5 facts about me:

• I was VERY timid as a child, my mum always said I was so quiet as a child and she doesn’t know what happened to me over the years 😂

• I got married at 21 and have been married now for over 10years and counting 🤞

• Growing up I didn’t want kids (like I was adamant) lol funny how things change 😅 love my boys 🥰

• I studied Business Administration after high school just to get my parents off my back not because I wanted to. I hated my first job (related to my studying) because I was sitting at a desk all day. 🥱

• I have 10 years experience in Retail and I’ve come to the realisation that working for someone else isn’t lighting a spark in my life anymore so I’m giving this owning a small business a go!

I resonate with this so much. I’ve always uttered the words “it’s not the right time to do it”. Until recently I have changed my mindset to just do it, make that change and better things will come out of it. Changed companies after being with one for 10 years but years that I felt were wasted. I now encourage anyone who wants to make a change to do it now and don’t second guess anything. Great things come to those who take chances!

I’m loving these beauties. The rose gold name with the white lettering looks amazing. You have the option to change the colours just shoot me a private message.

We have come a long way. Whereas once women couldn’t vote, we’re now leading countries. While we once faced restrictions on where we worked, we’re now running corporations. In countries such as Australia we have rights our grandmothers could only have dreamed about, but we still don’t have complete equality. And the majority of the world’s women aren’t anywhere near as close to that goal as we are.

Let’s celebrate all women in all countries. We are not finished yet!
