Packing down and cleaning out of our kitchen getting ready for our market on Friday/Saturday has us reflecting on the wild journey TGC has been.
Us gals have worked together for coming up to 5 years and somehow we still enjoy each others company, through crazy cafe work, a pandemic opening and now closing up a business all challenges that usually lead to heartbreak.

Closing a business is a lot of work and strategy. We built this beast from nothing and we hope to walk away with no waste of produce or equipment.

These last few years have been an amazing journey and a bloody hard one at that! This decision was not an easy one for us to make. ⁠
Between us we have 20 years of cheffing experience its been a wild ride, this business has allowed us to grow as humans and cook delicious things all whilst figuring out who we are and where we want to be.⁠
Jorgie is going back to study persuing a career in the health sector, whilst Kait will continue her education through food journey. ⁠
