Polyfoam Australia in Dandenong has a new recycling drop-off area. We take the recycling of EPS waste seriously and of course this waste is turned back into other EPS products and also a number of Polystyrene based building products. Our focus is that all EPS waste be captured to be recycled and not make its way to landfill but we need everyone's help to bring it in for recycling. Thankyou to the awesome and hard working team at Polyfoam Australia (Dandenong) who work so hard every single day to create the best products in the market and make Polyfoam a great place to work. A little thank to this awesome team with a fantastic lunch catered by Spitroast Catering (one of our fantastic customers) and a number of dishes also supplied by our wonderful staff. What a wonderful feast had by all.

We love a good ending, on this occasion a wonderful member of the public collected EPS packaging waste discarded in their local area hard rubbish collections (where it would end up in landfill) knowing it could be recycled by Polyfoam and were willing at their own cost to transport it over approximately 5 car loads to Polyfoam Dandenong to ensure it would be recycled. When they struck a problem with transport they reached out on a local social group where one of our fantastic staff saw the post and offered to have it collected for them. Our Styrocycle van traveled to them and collected the waste and it will now be processed and turned back into other great Polystyrene products. No Landfill, No waste and 100% Recyclable.

Recently our General Manager (who holidays in Loch Sport) was at the local Pharmacy and noted an array of EPS boxes they had from deliveries of medicines, etc. He spoke with the owner who informed of a collection which he was finding difficult to dispose of. Our GM arranged to take our Polyfoam Recycling Van on his next trip to collect those boxes which will be recycled into EPS waffle pods for housing. Polyfoam are always happy to take Clean EPS for recycling at our facility in Dandenong on weekdays between 8.30am and 4pm (closed weekends and public holidays).

Recycle it and make it into another great product. A great initiative. Let's get all those recyclable materials made into more useful products.
