My latest project has been one of my favourite and most rewarding ones to date. To take a rickety old vintage workbench covered in grease, dirt and bits of rotten timber, and turn it into this beautiful unique rustic entry hall table which would complement and warm any home. The amazing rich colours of the old reclaimed timber truly gives it so much character. I’m so stoked to have been given the opportunity to bring this workbench back to life and give it a second chance. Thank you for trusting in me to deliver what you envisioned this old work bench could be. Hope you enjoy it for many years to come, because trust me, it will out live you now. Haha!!

When you ditch the cot and step up to a big girl bed, you gotta do it right. A lot of love and daddy daughter time went into this little build. Lots of fun.

8seater table delivered to a good mate of mine as a Chrissy gift to his wife.
Made from recycled hardwood roof battens from a mates old shed. Legs welded up by another mate. And powder coated matte black by multi coat in Rowville.
Clear resin gloss finish using pure glass resin. Thanks Dayne for the product and advice.
Had fun on this build and learnt a lot about using resins.

Finally finished up this beautiful rustic outdoor 8 seater table with matte black steel legs. Made from reclaimed decking joists still bearing the holes from all the decking nails. So much character.

Old hardwood decking joists still bearing all the nail holes from the decking. I cleaned out all the rot and filled them with black resin from and finished with 4 coats of clear varnish.
Can’t wait to see this finished and set up in its new home.
I’m still awaiting the legs and will post a finished pic when it’s done.

Made from a left over cypress post. The grain and the colours from the heart of the tree are incredible.

600mm round clock with aluminium inset into the timber. Made from recycled Victorian Ash decking boards with a couple of coats of clear vanish.

This is one I did just for fun, (its all fun😁) a bit abstract, a bit different.
Made from recycled decking found on hard rubbish, painted an aqua colour, which you can see as I left a bit on the face to give it a bit of a shabby sheek vibe.

Whipped up this little tool box with hammer, shifter and hand saw for my daughters 2nd birthday. Now she can help me in the workshop 🔨 😁👍🏻
The name was hand cut from MDF on the band saw.

Just finished up a new piece for a top bloke and my cuz who is in love with his new table. And now has somewhere to put his car keys so he doesn’t loose them.😂
Made from 40 year old recycled hardwood fencing. Legs are fence posts, edges are fence rails and the tops are fence palings. Nothing is wasted .rustix. Finished with a couple of coats of an exterior ultra clear giving the timber the protection it may need from the sun coming through the window.
Really happy with this one. Turned out better than expected.

When I hung it in the back yard for a few glamour shots the wife fell in love with it. I think I’ll be making another at some stage.

When your in isolation over the Easter long weekend and your daughter is sad that she can’t go to the park and play, what better way to spend it with a daddy daughter cubbie project.
Made from 90% recycled materials. Weatherboards are old fence palings, stumps are old redgum fence posts, etc.

Huge bookshelf I recently completed for a client. 4.5m wide 2.6m high, shelves are 300mm deep.
Client is stoked and I really enjoyed this little/big project.
This one actually was not made from recycled materials but that’s ok for certain projects.

Rustic 8 seater table complete. I’m quite proud of this little beauty. It came up better than I expected. Made from recycled Cyprus posts, courtesy of my brother from last years ch9 Block. And boarded by recycled hardwood fence rails which give this table top so much rustic character. All biscuit joined to make this one solid table. The legs are made from recycled redgum fence posts. Still bearing the cut outs for the fence rails. Can’t get much more rustic than that.
This piece was always meant to be an outdoor table but when the client saw it for the first time it was quickly relocated and became their indoor dinning table. 😁👌🏻

Rustic timber frame made from recycled hardwood fencing plinth board. Beautifully weathered and slightly rotted in the soil. Perfect material to achieve the rustic look for this clients amazing smashed mirror mosaic piece. Really brings it to life.
