I have been playing with some of the new tools and filters in the new Photoshop release today. Whilst some still need more work there are some impressive refinements which will make life as a photo retoucher that little bit easier and hopefully save time. Have you tried PS2021? What is your favourite new feature?

Waterloo One of my favourite haunts in Melbourne is the Camberwell Markets which, sadly for now has been cancelled due to Covid19. This pas weekend I had the pleasure of photographing my Nephew's wedding on our family farm at Nowendoc, NSW. The weather was not what we had hoped for but the misty rain and fog did make for some lovely soft lighting and fun candid shots. Now, this is just a little bizarre. I found this image of the 'tribal' cardboard cutout group among others at Camberwell Markets last weekend. It is sad that images like these have been discarded by their original owners or decedents of and I may never know the story behind them but the few that I rescued will live to see another day. A new story will be created!

I will share my progress with restoring them soon. The lady selling them has collected them from op shops and auctions. They may otherwise have been thrown into landfill.
