Our Story
For many years Hacer and Ozcan Yildirim have both worked exceptionally hard in dancing and teaching Folk Dancing both overseas and in Melbourne. More recently, they gained the assistance of Calvin Yildirim who was born into the dancing culture; dancing in worldwide dance productions with some of the best Turkish dance companies in the world.
Alongside Calvin Yildirim, Cansu Tugba Yildirim has been dancing since the age of 6, and is currently undergoing teaching dance professionally. Being one of the main dance instructors for both Senior and Junior groups at EKOL, she well and truly shows dedication and commitment, not only with teaching but organizing and managing EKOL productions.

Starting the school in a junior class, Elise Yagmur has gained 11 years of dancing experience at EKOL resulting in many achievements in her escalating success within the school. Her dedication and commitment for the school has contributed greatly to Ekol. Elise now accompanies Cansu Yildirim with instructing the current Junior and Senior dance groups.
