A little different to my usual style

Brief - 18th birthday for three people, image on the front, gender neutral colours, subtle incorporation of their names

Instead of having the image flat to the surface of the cake I added some depth with the buttercream.

I decided to throw my hat in the ring for the local cake baking competition down at and was fortunate enough to walk away with third prize 🙌🏼

As a self taught baker experimenting as I go, I was pretty chuffed to have some legendary cakers say my cake was delicious 😋

I made a personal favourite flavour combination of lemon and blueberry cake with my homemade lemon curd filling, lemon buttercream finished off with vanilla swiss meringue buttercream, even managed to match my brand colouring 👌🏼

There were some absolutely beautifully designed and well executed cakes that looked delicious, I wish I could have tasted them myself!
