One of the perks of being in the centre of town is that we are close to everything that is going on. Our kinders were fortunate today to be able to observe the acknowledgment of remembrance at the war memorial next to kinder. The bugler played beautifully. Huge thanks to the service men who welcomed our children and took time to talk to them and answered ALL! Their ‘why’s’. When I went back tonight to look at the wreaths they had even taken the time to put ours in the middle of the others which was truly touching. We’ve been talking about Remembrance Day and earlier this week listened to and talked about ‘The Last Post’, we couldn’t have been prouder of them today as they showed their respect by remaining silent throughout the entire thing. #iwasntemotionalitwaskirsten #Respect #remeberanceday #remembrance #thankful #lestweforget2021

OH My Goodness! As if we didn’t already love our Eltham community enough, today we were visited by the B (clearly for Brilliant) shift of Eltham Fire Station who taught us more about the gear they use and staying safe and then we got to try our the water hose 💜💜💜
