We ask every patient these key questions to ensure we provide the best possible care:
1. Why has your substance use disorder developed in the first place?
2. Do you suffer from other psychological conditions alongside your substance use disorder?
3. Why has your condition taken this particular course over your lifetime?
4. What are possible reasons for why you have not recovered thus far?
5. Why have you chosen to seek help with us now?
We take a holistic approach to assessment process exploring developmental history, trauma and co-occuring psychological and physical conditions.
Once we have established a blueprint 👣 or “formulation” based on these questions above, the multidisciplinary team can set about providing treatment tailored to the individual patient.
