We have an important announcement regarding our hours of operation!
Due to some changes in the team, and some new plans we are working on, the cafe will temporarily be closing on weekends.

We will be back!

But for now, we will only operate Monday to Friday, from 7am until 3pm.

We're excited to see you back when we relaunch our weekends with some exciting new changes!

Until then, see you during the week!

Yaness is waving good bye to the Alleyway Cartel with her last shift this Saturday, Feb 18!

She has been an integral part of our team since she started and we're super sad to see her go but we wish her all the best in her future endeavours!

So, head on down the Alleyway this Saturday and get one of the best coffees in Melbourne from Yaness one last time! ☕

Phoebe aka Pheebs aka is waving good bye to the alleyway and moving on to some exciting curatorial and production roles in the creative arts. We are super stoked to see them chasing their dreams and wish them all of the best in the future! 🖤

Hey everyone it's Dan's birthday, come say Happy Birthday! 🍰

In case you haven’t met him yet, he's our cafe manager!

A longtime local, Dan grew up in Carnegie and cut his hospo teeth at Koornang road institution, Santucci's Café.

A massive coffee nerd, he has since worked, run, or managed a variety of different venues around town including Glover’s Station and Carter Lovett in Elsternwick, Plain Sailing and The Joinery in Elwood to name just a couple of the heavy hitters. If he’s not around he’s probably out drinking coffee, watching the footy, playing video games or just straight up sleeping.

We're fresh from a well deserved break and we hope you are all keen for a hot coffee in your favourite alleyway!
