I supported Monty and his parents with sleep back when he was 5 months old.
He wasn’t able to self settle, was waking frequently at night, catnapping, having false starts and long wakeful periods overnight 🫠
After two weeks working together he was self settling, linking sleep cycles, we ditched the dummy, sleeping like a champ overnight and he was in a predictable routine.

I’ll just say it - early morning waking sucks 😖
The most frustrating part about early waking is that it can very easily become a habit of early waking.
But don’t worry! I’ve got lots of tips for you to prevent it from becoming a habitual early morning wake.

I completed my studies to become a sleep consultant back in early 2020 and launched when I was heavily pregnant - on a mission to support and empower families just like yours.

A few fun facts about me:
🐶🐶🐱 I’m dog Mum to an 8 year old Staghound Seymour and 7 year old Mastiff Cross Loui. Cat Mum to 2.5 year old Torti cat Allie. They’re all rescues 🥰 I’m a crazy cat lady at heart.
🌴 In mid Feb this year we relocated to Far North QLD for an adventure - a dream we have had for many years. We will be settling back into our Melbourne life later in 2024.
🏡 Hubby and I (mostly hubby 😂) have renovated and flipped 2 properties - bringing 2 tired and dated homes back to life.
🏃🏼♀️ I love running (particularly on trails) and have run 3 half marathons both pre and post becoming a Mum. I don’t love running in pregnancy however - so running has taken a back seat for now!
💻 I’m the In-House Sleep Consultant for the community which is helping parents balance life and work 👌🏼

Been a rough first trimester with hyperemesis requiring hospitalisation, a PICC line, lots of bed rest and TLC but seem to be coming out the other side now 🤞🏼🤞🏼so thankful to our private midwife Caitlin at who’s been such an incredible support to us during a challenging time.

Meet Zoe 👧
I supported Zoe and her parents Lexi and Andrew when she was 6.5 months old.
Zoe was feeding to sleep and requiring frequent feeds back to sleep overnight and was contact napping. Mum was exhausted and feeling like Zoe’s dummy 🫶
This lovely fam booked in The Let’s Sleep Package Online and we kicked off with a 45 min consult followed by 2 weeks of daily WhatsApp support.
We turned her sleep around and within a couple of weeks she was self settling, sleeping solidly overnight with a feed, everyone was better rested, she had a predictable day routine and was happily sleeping like a legend in her cot.
⏩Fast forward to now and she’s 20 months old🥹 Lexi and Andrew are still so happy that Zoe loves her sleep and that they all get plenty of rest.

Meet Parker and Isla 👧👧
I visited these twinnies back when they were 7 months old (4 months corrected for prematurity).
They were waking frequently, catnapping, reliant on dummies, waking early at 5am and nobody was getting much sleep!
This lovely fam booked in the 2 night package and I spent 2 consecutive 12 hour nights with them in their home from 6pm - 6am followed by 2 weeks of daily WhatsApp support.
We turned their sleep around and within a couple of weeks they were sleeping amazingly both day and night, self settling, we ditched the dummies and they were both sleeping in the same room in their own cots 🫶 The routine and predictability provided so much clarity for mum and dad and got them some MUCH needed rest.

When Hazel was around 3 months old, I developed postnatal anxiety and the trigger for me was her sleep. Not because her sleep was challenging, but because of my A type personality and worrying about the ‘what ifs’.
What if she skips her nap and is super overtired by bedtime and she wakes lots overnight.
What if she hits the 4 month developmental progression and she isn’t able to be resettled back to sleep?
Thankfully with the support of a perinatal psychologist (via zoom due to being in the thick of stage 4 lockdown in Melbourne!) I was able to move through this and recognise that everything was going to be okay.
I had the tools to support us to sleep well and if she did hit a speedbump with sleep, it wouldn’t last forever. This experience pushed me to shift my mindset from perfection to ‘sleep is not linear’ which has been pivotal for me.
This experience is why we have leaned into travel, having sleepovers at friend’s houses, off routine days all with Hazel along for the ride.
Through pushing ourselves out of our comfort zone, we have kept our sense of spontaneity and fun that was so important to us before we became parents.
Why should that have to stop just because a baby comes along?
This is something I am incredibly passionate about helping parents to build confidence around and is probably why so many of my clients do long trips overseas with their little ones! How good is that!

I receive many many questions about sleep associations and it almost always begins with…
“I know it’s bad habit but….”
🚨There are no bad habits when it comes to how you settle your baby.
Instead I’d encourage you to consider what is and isn’t working?
If you’re settling your baby in a certain way (holding to sleep, feeding to sleep, co sleeping) and that’s no longer working well for your family - you can always change it!

Sleep deprivation is one of the most significant challenges parents face once their little one arrives. It’s also the most 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 aspect of antenatal education.
Expecting parents focus on what’s happening next such as researching pregnancy, birth preparation and breastfeeding which are all incredibly important.
⭐️ But what about your baby’s sleep?
• The emotional / mental toll that lack of sleep can have for families.
• What to expect with your baby’s sleep - how often do they wake up and when they might sleep through the night.
• How your partner or support person can support / recognise signs of sleep deprivation and when to take action
• Understanding that ‘sleep training’ doesn’t just mean leaving your baby to cry on their own 🫶

I visited these twinnies back when they were just about to turn ONE (we did the overnight package the night before their first birthday). They were waking frequently, struggling to self settle and having lots of milk bottles (impacting appetite for solids). We turned this around and within a week or two, they were sleeping through the night, self settling and smashing their solids 👌🏼The routine and predictability provided so much clarity for mum and dad.
⏩Fast forward to now and they’re almost 3.5 years old 🥹 Sleeping like legends most of the time (with some super normal toddler bedtime cheekiness!).
