Tumbles Playhouse is a popular indoor children's play centre, café, and party venue. We're known throughout Melbourne's inner west for our fresh and wholesome café menu, super clean playground & amazing kids' parties.

We're on the lookout for energetic and dynamic individuals who thrive in a busy environment. You have a passion and love for children. You're customer-focused with interest in connecting with our customers and your colleagues. You are quality-focused, flexible, and teachable with a desire to learn new skills & work cross-functionally in other business areas. Experience in hospitality is preferred but not required as we provide training.

Duties include:

- Food preparation/service in the café, plus barista & cashier duties
- Ensuring the play equipment is used appropriately by customers
- Maintaining cleanliness of the café & playground
- Opening & closing responsibilities

RE-OPENING - Monday, 22nd June!

We are excited to be re-opening on June 22 for parties and casual play!

During the last two months, our team has been busy maintaining and performing deep cleaning activities for the playground and the cafe areas.

Due to capacity limitations, we will be introducing a temporary two hours of play sessions. This will be to ensure we can maintain a healthy limit of the number of people and allows our team more time to focus on cleaning and sanitising the center.

Casual weekday sessions:
9:30am - 11:30am
12:00pm- 2:00pm
2:30pm - 4:30pm

Casual weekend sessions:
9:30am - 12:00pm
12:30pm- 2:30pm
3:00pm - 5:00pm

To avoid disappointment, we strongly advise you to call or email us to pre-book the day and time of your planned visit. We will accept walk-ins where capacity allows.

We also have introduced a range of measures to help stop the spread of COVID-19, which includes:

- Increasing our already strict sanitising schedule of all high touch items and surfaces, as well as thorough and careful cleaning of the playground, party rooms, cafe, and restrooms at the end of each play session.

- We request all customers use cashless payment where possible.

- Placing signage and floor markings, as well as adding extra space between tables in our cafe to allow for social distancing.

- Sound recordings and TV slide shows will be played every 20min, to remind all our clients to follow good hygiene practices.

- Hand sanitisers will be available for guests and staff to use.

- We will be keeping a visitor register to allow for contact tracing.

- Limiting the number of birthday parties happening at the same time.

As we face an unusual hardship and challenge on a global scale, we would like to take this moment to connect with our valued community. It is a tough time not only for small businesses but also for the whole community. We are thinking of those affected by the current crisis due to the COVID-19 outbreak and would like to let you know that the health of our team members and you, our valued clients, is our highest priority.

We at Tumbles Playhouse, are always following high cleaning and hygiene practices and standards. We also put extra measures to deal with the current situation to keep the cafe and playground areas safe, as reducing the center's capacity, hand sanitizing, and temperature checks before entry, and deep-cleaning for the center overall.

There is nothing more important than health and safety, so at this stage, due to the rapidly changing situation of COVID-19 virus and due to the increased infections in the country during the last two days, we decided to close the business temporarily for everyone's safety, until further notice.

The good news that we are continuously upgrading and adding exciting playground games and equipment for your children, which they will enjoy once we re-open.
