Coles Variety Store 12

36 years ago today .. store 12 closed !
Such a sad day, so many memories, so many tears, so many beers … so many years ago 😌

Back then, when it was autumn, when it still was a possibility to sit outside and crochet even though it started to get quite chilly, this WIP was growing slowly but steady. 🍂
Today we have a minus 9 degrees, nature is covered in a thick layer of ice and snow and almost 32 balls of Scheepjes Truly Scrumptious transformed to a full sized blanket with the name “Heinz”. ❄️

The pattern has been written, is tested and it has just been released. 🎉

This is just a short and friendly reminder how much effort, time and love is included in every handcrafted project.

Does anyone remember the name of the lift lady from the 1980’s … not Hazel or Merle, she started at store 12 towards the early - mid 80’s
