Today we attended the LS Multicultural Communications Summit 😄.
Our Director of Strategy/CEO, John Burgess, was engaged by Ethnolink, to join the presentation panel. John presented on First Nations cultural engagement for a campaign application process.
The talk was well received and seeing some of our clients there was great! Thanks to Ethnolink for the opportunity. We look forward to continuing our work with you!
On Friday we had a visit from Paul Kelly (), to partake in an in-house video our team is producing. We spent the afternoon listening to Paul's grounding performance on the yidaki, followed by some of the team participating in an ensemble, as Paul showed us the clap sticks and techniques for the yidaki.

We were engaged by the Melbourne Fringe Festival to produce a series of promotional videos and photography for their 2024 program. The theme for this year’s festival is ‘Eat Your Art Out’, to showcase the dynamic, multifaceted culture of the festival, creating a fun, intriguing, and exhilarating hero video.

On August 16, 1975, Gurindji man Vincent Lingiari had a visit from then Prime Minister Gough Whitlam, who poured soil into his hands. This marked the return of the Wave Hill cattle station land to the Gurindji People, also known as the Wave Hill Walk Off.
This day signifies marking an incredible milestone in the struggle for land rights and justice, and showing that from little things, big things grow. 🖤❤💛
We're excited to share that our Traditional Owner Artwork Integration project has just won the Master Builders Victoria 2024 Homes Victoria Excellence in Social Procurement Award by Icon. Congratulations to the team at Icon and the dedication you've shown in honouring the stories and cultural legacy of the Wurundjeri and Bunurong people.
Our team worked with artist Alex Kerr, Ash Firebrace and Kobi Sainty to design artwork to integrate into Homes Victoria’s Ground Lease Model project.

We were invited to the 2025 MIFF Gala at Hoyts to watch the screening of the film Memoir of a Snail. The evening started with a Welcome to Country from Aunty Di Kerr that our AV team, Madelyn and Susan produced, it was amazing to see this on screen at Hoyts. After the film, we walked to The State Library - where we celebrated the launch of MIFF. 👏
Today we celebrate International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples 🖤.
This year's theme is 'Protecting the Rights of Indigenous Peoples in Voluntary Isolation and Initial Contact.' You can help us raise awareness of the needs of Indigenous Peoples as we recognise this day.
On Thursday 8 August we attended Kinaway Chamber of Commerce Vic Ltd's Deadly in Melbourne Expo at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. We had a great time networking with organisations seeking our creative work.
Knox City Council, Little Rocket and artist, Grace Brown, collaborated to create a light display for the exterior of the council building. The project objective was to provide a light source in the walkway to make it a safer area for both staff and the public.

Today we celebrate National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day, with the theme ’Strong in Culture, Stronger Together.’ We celebrate the culture, stories, kin and communities that make our children bright future leaders.
At Little Rocket we are sports fanatics and excited to engage with Sport4All to create a campaign that celebrates the rich sporting history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities during National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week.
For NAIDOC week, we created a vodcast with key sportspersons in Victoria. We invited Ben Davies, Saibai/Waiben Islander man and Ethan Penrith, Yorta-Yorta/Yamatji man for a powerful conversation on inclusions in sports. They were joined by Mitch Gourley, Sport4All National Manager, and Jhonny Boland, Inclusion Coach, Sport4All.

Last week, we held our first workshop with the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service -VAHS and Independent Living Assessment (iLA) to explore how assistive products can help Elders in the community maintain their independence as they age.
We gained valuable insights from Elders in the VAHS community and are excited to collaborate with Independent Living Australia to develop a Toolkit that supports First Nations Elders in their ageing journey.

NGS Super engaged Little Rocket to design their Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
We collaborated closely with Bree Buttenshaw, a proud Kalkadoon woman and talented digital artist based on Quandamooka Country. Bree created an artwork called 'Harmony,' which tells the story of NGS Super and what they represent. “These three circles, and their values, are all connected. This flow of continuous connection symbolises the way NGS is taking care of your tomorrow in a supportive and encompassing way.” - Bree
We loved working with Bree to design NGS Super's first RAP.
