BREAKING NEWS!!!!
Hi lovely people, it’s time for me to move on now. Tomorrow is the 21st and also 21 years since I opened FEVER.
I have sold the business and the building & I’m so very happy to announce that as of tomorrow, this gorgeous girl, Katie, will be taking over at FEVER. 💕
Katie and I have been working together to manage a smooth transition and I couldn’t imagine a nicer person to continue on the Fever name.
Some of you will be familiar with Katie and will have seen her lovely self working away in the salon recently.
I’m going to be handing over this page now to Katie knowing it’s in good hands and I very much look forward to seeing the business move into the future.
I wish Katie all the very best.
I also wish to acknowledge how very lucky she is to have the best team ever, including these rockstars super stylists: .fever …..
These Freelance Stylists have been the backbone of the salon and all contribute to the success of this business in a HUGE way. Thete are lots of exciting things in the pipeline! Just a random photo dump of things I’ve been doing and looking at in the study at home. 🌸My sister has been cooking up a storm during the Melb lockdown… but I’ve gone right off cooking, on a positive note I have picked up the pastels, pencils and paints again. 🌸🌈

It’s really hard for me to be peeved off about a further closure to our salon, when young girls and all women accross Afghanistan are about to experience turmoil, fear and human rights abuse. It’s ironic that ‘taliban’ means student in English, as it’s likely this regime will ban girls and women from attending school. Education is the ticket to freedom for many people and to be denied this basic human right …. Well, I’m just bloody wretched at this latest. I’ve done a little research and these 2 organisations are on the ground and already doing some good work, if you would like to donate or support. Just have no words really for how sad this situation is. I’ll put their tags in the comments. 💙

For everyone in Vic (& Sydney) in lockdown…. hang in there, don’t be too hard on yourself if your feeling flat, it’s 100% understandable. 💚💚💚

I should’ve had a career as a TREND FORCASTER!! About 21 years ago when I started the FEVER boutique business (Closet Fever) we had Salon Fever just down the road. I was wanting to do a marketing campaign to introduce all the local people to this new ‘Fever’ business and came up with this campaign..…. I photographed the syringe myself on the bbq in the back yard, and a printer ran off thousands of these postcards which went out in the local paper and in peoples letterboxes…….my sister sent me this photo today reminding me about it….. how funny! (but not funny🥴🥱🤫😩)
