We got just over 600 pizzas out the door tonight. It was the biggest night we’ve had in 22 years. The amount of love and kindness you guys showed up with is a tale for the ages. The quest for perfection.

The perfect garlic bread doesn’t exi…

Hey everyone, as most of you know, a few weeks back we took the decision to start unwrapping individual garlic breads before they go into the oven then wrapping them again once cooked, to get them nice and crispy on the outside but remain gooey and delicious on the inside. You will notice as a result that the garlic breads cook much darker than before. We have sold around 2400 since adopting this method. We consider the process well and truly tested but last night someone had a comment that a garlic bread appeared burnt and that one comment is enough for us so we wanted to address it. Yes the garlic bread is toasted now and yes that affects the coloration but the overall quality of the experience should be much better. Please let us know if that is not the case and you have feedback. The only thing we cant promise is that we can adopt this new method of cooking every single time. It takes extra time at the ovens and you know how busy we get but we are doing our best to do each one by hand because we want you to have the best experience imaginable! Some might say "if it aint broke why fix it?" and "people dont like change" well to hell with that. We are never going to stop trying to improve every bite where possible.

Hey Everyone! So its seems that an unscheduled update was pushed through over easter which caused our online system to switch back on and some of you were able to place orders. We are so sorry that this happened as we know you would have all been hungry and waiting for your orders only to find there was no pizza coming at all! For those of you that did place orders please rest assured that no orders were actually accepted at our end the funds will simply settle back into your accounts pretty quickly. This has happened once before and the important thing to remember is that you wont see a credit in your account from Upwey Pizza as we did not accept any payments from you. The funds will simply re-settle into your account and the charge will disappear. Important to remember that as the instinct will be to look for a credit but that only happens if funds are accepted and refunded. It's only a few of you but if you have any questions don't hesitate to message us and apologies again. We hope you had a wonderful easter break and we will see you all again from tomorrow. Much love

Hey everyone, we know that many of you are without power. We hope you are all ok. We will be open as normal tonight and will stay open late to make sure we get everyone fed. Please be patient with us as it’s going to be a tough night but we will get through it as we always do. If you have access to order online please do as we will have limited phone coverage.
