Mexican Independence is celebrated with what Mexicans we call:

The only party where you can ask the Dj for a song and we will play it for you! (Time depending)

Experience how the Aztecs used to welcome their deceased as this special date arrives (This ceremony will happen on the main room before the Lucha Fantastica show starts, limited capacity so unfortunately this is only avail to ticket holders of the Mexican Wrestling show)

/ / AZTEC SHAMAN / /
Get rid of the bad vibes with a cleansing from our Aztec Shaman who will be hosting the opening ceremony.

Witness authentic folk dance and get ready for the dance floor.

Enjoy live music, including Mariachi, get ready to shake your bum and your skeleton with Kachimbaz playing live Latin music and stay tuned for an incredible DJ lineup announcement coming soon! Sip on fantastic margaritas while Mariachi serenades upon arrival. Andale!

Retropolis has a 1950’s Tram which will be transformed into a Mexican Cantina where we will host a Tequila & Agave Distillates Master-class (very limited tickets unfortunately and we are so proud to have some mezcal which is not available anywhere else in Australia!)
+ Special guests from Lucha Fantastica (Mexican wrestling in Australia) doing a Lucha Libre demonstration and teaching people how to become a pro wrestler!

Celebrating the noble spirits that come from the agave plant, we have been seeking the finest Tequila and Mezcales for your taste buds to enjoy.

We are at the moment in Mexico curating and selecting the best options to bring back to Melbourne, with some small artisan batches that you will never be able to try again in Australia.

And presenting The Tequila Tram Experience!
A 1950's tram transformed into a Mexican Cantina for this event, where we will sample top shelf Tequilas and our host and presenter Señor Fantastico will tell us about agave plants, distillation and manufacture processes and even Mexican history to understand the amazing spirits that the agave plant offers to us.

If that was not enough, we will also have a HUGE fiesta!
