I wanted to share this post by because as a culture we use alcohol for everything, if we’ve had a bad day, or dealing with stress or even happy and celebrating. Alcohol is not helping you release stress, it’s increasing your cortisol making you more stressed in the long run. I know this because I used to drink alcohol to numb myself. I wasn’t an excessive drinker by any means, but i did consume. This month I just hit 6 months without any alcohol and honestly, I feel better than ever. My anxiety has reduced and I no longer live in a foggy head. I feel so calm, clear and focused. I let myself feel the myriad of feelings. From the sh*tty, uncomfortable ones to the incredible ones. It’s not been an easy journey and in the beginning sometimes social situations would be awkward, but I now appreciate being able to sit back and engage in conversation with others with a clear head, and I’m just loving it!

Every morning I set myself up for a productive day. Walk, meditation, intention setting. I no longer put pressure on myself with my walks; if I have energy I walk faster and longer, if it’s a day that I’m not feeling energetic I give myself the space to walk slower, and for as long as I like. The most important thing to me is that im moving my body and I’m respecting the messages she is giving me.
Exactly how I practice my yin.
So grateful for what my yoga practice has taught me. Not only on the mat but how I’ve transmuted my practice into daily life.

There are so many different ways to meditate. Any mindful activity can bring you into a state of meditation; being focused and the heart rate slowing down is a meditation.
Every Monday night 7.15pm Chantelle will guide you through breathwork practices and different styles of meditation to supporting you in finding what works for you. This is a life changing practice that actually gives you time. We learn to handle daily stresses with ease, and move about our day clear in our minds. Centered and grounded. Not to mention the other physical health benefits such as reduced stress and risk of heart disease, increased immunity, positive moods, better sleep and reduces anxiety to just make a few.

On Saturday I saw at Melbourne town hall. Her book changed my life, teaching me to be in flow and trust in the universes’ plans. When you learn let go of control and trust that all is unfolding exactly as it needs to be, you can sit back and begin to watch the magic flow into your life 🙌🏼

I am so passionate in supporting my students in coming home to themselves; back to the essence of who they are. Stepping in to the best versions of themselves and learning their self worth.
In the meditation sessions we focus on releasing limiting beliefs, fear and doubt. Through guided visualization and breathwork. We rewrite the story.

Negative thoughts are just thoughts.
They are untrue and they come from our own perception and belief system that may not even be ours. They come from our subconscious which studies report we live in 95% of the time.
Through identifying and consciously changing the negative thought when it arises to a more helpful, positive thought, we can rewire the brain to begin to start thinking more positively.
We then start to change our energetic vibration, and attract things at that higher frequency.
