Inspirational Tuesday - Revere Ware cooking utensils, 1939
In 1939, and a long time before utensils become a necessity for every kitchen and household, Revere Brass & Copper Corp and designer W. Archibald Weldon created a line of consumer and commercial kitchen wares that because of their innovative technology and design would be profitable until the early 60s.
The company's main line was focused primarily on consumer cookware such as skillets, sauce pans, stock pots, and tea kettles. Their products were well known for introducing and incorporating a series of new techniques including the construction of stainless steel with rivetless attached bakelite handles, copper-clad bases, and rounded interiors for ease of cleaning.
Although the company's cookware division kept growing and exploring innovative ways to improve the production and the overall design of the products, in 1982 financial issues forced them to file for bankruptcy.

Inspirational Tuesday - Self-heating & cooling lunchbox
SunnySide is a revolutionalized version of the traditional lunchbox that is solar-powered providing the right temperature for the food without needing a microwave.
Sunnyside has many unique features including a leakproof modular divider system helping with organizing the lunch, a solar panel built into the lid that helps charge the Sunnyside’s internal 10,000mAh battery that powers the lunchbox’s heating and cooling features, and a small LCD screen and buttons on the side controlling the temperature of the food. Finally, it is dishwasher safe while the temperature of the lunchbox can be gauged by an app using a smartphone.
The project is currently crowdfunded on Kickstarter and is sold for $69 USD (99,49 AUD).
Inspirational Tuesday - Ampex portable tape recorder
Ampex 601 was a portable, analog, reel-to-reel tape recorder produced by The Ampex Corporation from the mid-1950s through the 1960s and designed by George Rehklau. The company manufactured two versions of the Ampex 600, the single-channel model (601) and the dual-channel version (602). The units recorded to ¼-inch tape on 5-inch or 7-inch reels and could also be used for professional recordings.
Ampex's models were distinguished for their compact design and combining the highest quality in the smallest package. Most of the models were carefully housed in an elegant Samsonite suitcase making carrying easy and stylish.

Inspirational Tuesday - An unconventional watch that will change your perception of time.
Watches have become an integral part of our lives helping us perceive the passing of life in a more measured way and facilitating communication with other people across the globe.
However, designers Miguel Pena and All Design Lab redefined the essence of time and how it affects our daily lives. Thus, they designed a watch that looks more like a kinetic sculpture that spins fast or slow depending on the emotional and productivity state.
The concept behind this innovative design is that instead of creating another conventional watch that displays time and constantly reminds us of the time we either lose or gain, this watch gives the users a more conscious realization of how their life is being spent. In this context, the time movement is faster if someone experiences positive feelings and slower if they are engaged in negative behavior.
Momentum’s 45 individual fins rotate on the strap pivot based on the health tracking data from the sensors onboard. The design is quite minimalistic with solid color aesthetics and a matching strap to go with it.
