When travelling to India, along with a small amount of Indian Rupees (INR), it is wise to also take some US Dollars (USD) to exchange once in destination!

This is because there is an import restriction of 25,000 INR for foreigners, so you'll need to exchange the rest on arrival - and USD is more widely accepted and often fetches a better rate once you're in the country 💱
