Quivers are launching their new record Oyster Cuts tonight and playing a few tracks live at Record Paradise! Free and all ages from 6:15 tonight!

Pop in after work tonight to celebrate the release of new LP “oyster cuts” come in a meet the band and take home a signed record or some merch from the occasion, all ages and free from 6pm!!!!!!!

When we were recently in Japan we caught up with Alec and Kazu from the psychedelic band “Happy” from Kyoto. We have some limited edition tapes of their new album “ancient moods mahollovamind” it’s a trip!

We are very excited to welcome Quivers into our store to launch their wonderful new record “oyster cuts” The band will play live next Thursday 22 at 6.30 so put it in your diary and come in and show some love before they head off overseas again. It’s free and all ages are welcome!

Billiam “animation cel” is released into the world today, We met Billy years ago when he was a young punk, he played in our store before Amyl and the Sniffers and I believe we all witnessed something special with his act Disco Junk. He’s is a beguiling performer and a very enthusiastic music lover and we can’t wait to see you blow that roof of the Tote tonight for the launch!

Very excited to have in-store this Sunday 11th August, signing copies of her new album ‘Sunday Sadness’. We’ll have copies of the CD and the limited pasta bowl white vinyl for sale on the day. All are welcome!

On the day Record Paradise shopfront was smashed this amazing Montero artwork arrived! Bjenny kindly allowed us to print it up and the team at plakkit stuck it on the window. Thanks for your support- hopefully things will be back on track asap! Meanwhile we are open as usual with thousands of new and recycled records on the shelf….

Divide and Exit was Sleaford Mods second album, it came out a decade ago and is out today on limited edition red vinyl with a bonus flexi disc with new art work by Cold War Steve or classic cover art on black wax! Yes this is Punk and it is well neaded geeza.

I just watched the Andrew McCarthy documentary “Brats” about the 80’s brat pack it was ok, also the Charli XCX album “Brat” is now back in store after selling out quickly people really like this record it will sell out again.

Jane’s CD sales at Record Paradise have raised over $3000 for community radio in Melbourne and well as connecting many people with some amazing local music! We continue with the sale until Sunday at 5! Hope you can pop in for a dig!
