We will be closed from Monday 9th October and opening again Thursday November 2nd for business as usual. The website will also be on hold during this period. We are open as usual this weekend so if you have orders to collect or simply want to browse then pop in. Having barely had a day off this year this is the only way to get some actual time off. For RSD tomorrow we will be open at 9am sorry but no RSD releases but plenty of quality secondhand going out for the first time including plenty of Metal & Stoner plus most other genres are represented. TEMPORARY CLOSING
We are closing for 3 weeks from Sunday July 3rd - July 28th and re-opening again on Friday 29th July. The website will also be closed for buying during this period. We have never closed in the 28 years the shop has been going but after 4 years with no time off this is the only way to actually get a proper break and recharge the batteries. We are trading up until close of business this Sunday so feel to drop by in the next few days as we are fully stocked right now with plenty of great stock. If not see you in a few weeks. Paul

THE PLURAL OF RECORD STORE DAY IS RECORD STORE DAYS...Or so it seems as there is RSD part 2 this coming Saturday June 18th. Once again no fancy RSD titles but we may get some afterwards if we are unlucky. We do however have some nice stuff going out with over 12 crates of quality LPs covering most genres. The highlight being 5 crates of Stoner\Metal related titles from the collection of Saul Atkinson not curated for or by RSD, just good titles to take home and play. See poorly filmed videos below for an idea of some of the goodies, we open early at 9am Saturday first come first served and sorry no we can’t keep things aside.

RECORD STORE DAY
Just a heads up on what we are doing for RSD Saturday 23rd April. We will be open at 9am. Due to export restrictions we can no longer get RSD titles so we have put together a great selection of secondhand titles for the day. Prices range from $20 - $500 so plenty of scope for all budgets. These are Nth Melbourne prices not Discogs etc so hopefully a bargain or two can be had and some holes in the collection filled. On top of that all $1, $2, $5 & $10 records are half marked price so plenty of bargains if that’s your thing. The shop is fully stocked with excellent back catalogue and new release vinyl as well as an excellent range of used CDs just gone out. Thanks to everyone in advance for supporting Indie Record Stores, have a great day either here or at any of the other great stores Melbourne has to offer.
