Lily and Milly!

First time having Lily stay and she was a pleasure. Such a gentle, sweet soul. Oaklynn loved having her here for plays and cuddles.

And she bought out the puppy in Milly. Wrestles all day every day. Milly is now passed out and hasn't moved since Lily went home 😅

We had a sleepover to see how he would go for when mummy and daddy get married in Dec. He is absolutely gorgeous and it was a YES from us 😍

I no times are tough. And we all donate where we can. Update on Milly...

After several vet visits after her surgery, Milly is on the mend. (6 visits in a matter of a week)

Milly had scratched out her stitches, leaving an open wound and within hrs, an infection.
(Even with vet advise to put socks on etc)

Back to vet to be told she needs to be restitched 😞 (under local anaesthetic)

Finally. It's all looking good! Nice and clean and intact. (She now has a cone which they originally did not give us, as they thought it would rub on incision - but it does not, making things so much easier, and clearly recovery now easier)

There's no slowing this old girl down.

Milly can't wait to have stitches out and cone off!!

And to be around her friends!

So it turns out Millys lump was caused by a bloody grass seed, and the tiniest one at that lol
But I'm glad it was nothing more.
Drainage tube out in 4 days.
(So gross all the fluid just dripping away lol glad we don't have carpets.)

Milly is now resting and keeping warm.

I no I have been slack with replies. I've been so busy and have just found another lump on my Milly girl. Vet app next week.

Typical Milly, still acting like a pup. Like nothing is wrong.

More worried this time as it's under her neck and growing rapidly.
Old age in our fur babies suck!
