Good morning everyone. Today I would like to share with you all what happened on Wednesday. There was a fire alarm that went off and caused an evacuation due to a malfunctioning of a fire sprinkler. The emergency teams prompt response was simply outstanding. The timing and how they handled the situation was really impressive. Gudfala aftanun and a blessed Sunday to you all. Apologies as it has been too long since I last posted a video (been busy with work). Anyways, I recently had a discussion with one of our fellow PALM worker, who's just got back from spending his holidays in the Solomons. His concern was of the taxation of goods brought into the country which is said to be too much or overcharged. Additionally, I have also heard some stories of similar experience from our wantoks going back for holidays. This video is just an idea of an issue that I personally think our government should consider, in terms of PALM workers.
