(The travel, not the sleeping on the floor at Gatwick)
Over the week, I took every chance to engage with the locals. Be it being led to tourist traps, talking to the staff at the petrol station or even sharing a tea over a story before the tourist buses arrived, I’m thankful that I had the chance to have a variety of experiences, both good and bad.
Naturally though, a highlight for me was watching the sun set over the Atlas Mountains as the local kids took advantage of the last bit of daylight.

With my laptop in repairs for the week, I took the chance to book a last minute trip to Morocco in March. It was an overload of the senses, but exactly what was needed.
