Back into the swing of things and a zillion follow up checks and appointments that have been on hold for 2.5 years!

That is what it’s all about…! Teamwork, inclusivity, bravery, fun & friendship. What a weekend for all the families and especially to those kids who pushed themselves out of their comfort zone. Proud to say that was all 3 of my kids there. Well done Lily, Evie & Ollie! 👏 👏 👏

Such an important question and message around mental health. Never underestimate just how hard it is for parents of kids with additional needs. We may look okay but we’re often battling inside. We don’t sympathy just kindness and understanding 💛 .okay_

She looks proud and she should be as it hurt a little but she (we) also learnt an interesting fact about one of the things most likely to cause cavities. You might be shocked but it’s the good old 🍎🍏!! Of course an apple a day is good for you but just not before you go to sleep! It’s a habit my kids have gotten in to and it’s damaging their teeth! So from now on brushed teeth will be the very last thing they do before sleep and no more apples in bed! Oh and less lollies 🍬🍭 too of course!

An interesting question 🤔 While my kids drew pictures of flowers and ice creams and wrote words not really knowing what the board meant I pondered the question 🤔… I think our best tomorrow is acceptance of everyone’s individuality ❤️

We’re all individuals and we all learn individually. For Lil (& her mother) maths is best learnt through practical and hands on learning. That’s a yes to baking!
