We recently came together in Melbourne for a special End of Financial Year (EOFY) celebration, marking 20 incredible years of Design & Build Recruitment. Our teams from Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth joined in the festivities, creating an unforgettable event.

International Women's Day:

At D&B, we're proud to champion diversity and equality every day, but on this special date, we go the extra mile to support our partners who work hard for a better and more equal society.

The IWD's theme this year is to inspire , and we're happy to share how we're making a positive impact! In the spirit of giving back to the , we're thrilled to announce we are donating to three incredible charities suggested by our colleagues that are actively working towards empowering women and fostering inclusivity:

➡️ Fitted for Work is a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping women re-enter the workforce by providing them with essential support such as interview preparation, resume writing, and professional attire. We're proud to support their mission of promoting financial independence and confidence among women.

➡️ Sisterworks supports female migrants and refugees by providing them with employment opportunities and training to secure jobs in Australia. Their dedication to empowering women through economic independence is truly inspiring.

➡️ The Katrina Dawson Foundation focuses on finding, funding, and mentoring exceptional young women, providing them with scholarships and fellowships to help them fulfil their potential. Their commitment to breaking barriers and creating opportunities resonates deeply with us.

In addition to these contributions, we're taking our support a step further by encouraging our female team members to choose a charity close to their hearts, to which we'll also make a donation on their behalf. It's our way of amplifying our message and supporting multiple organisations.

Furthermore, we are also starting a non-financial collaboration with our partners at Fitted For Work by offering our mentor support to job seekers. This will be a quarterly volunteer event to advise women in various stages of their job-seeking journey, helping them return to the workforce.

This International Women's Day, let's unite to inspire inclusion, empower women, and create a brighter, more equitable future for all!
