A number of Royal Brinkman Australia customers are commercial growers of Medicinal Cannabis. This involves a high level of precision growing, harvesting and storage techniques to ensure the resultant buds are in optimum condition for patient end use.

To maintain moisture content in the buds, we supply growers with Boveda sachets that when added to the harvested crop, regulate the moisture content to either 58% or 62% relative humidity.

Something different this week.

As many of you will already know, staff member Tony Bundock (pictured in the middle) has been a volunteer firefighter for 31 years with the Narre Warren Fire Brigade - CFA.

Tomorrow he will be joined by 8 of his colleagues as they participate in the 2022 Firefighter stairclimb to raise funds to fight depression, PTSI and su***de.

This will see the team running up 28 floors of the Crown Towers building in their full kit weighting 25kg and wearing the breathing apparatus - no mean feat!

It's always busy at the Royal Brinkman Australia branch, and today we have prepared another 5 Berg trolleys for shipping to their new home.

Time to think about shade paint!

Hang on a minute - it's winter, it's cold and raining - why do I need to think about greenhouse shading paint?

No we haven't gone mad at Royal Brinkman!, but as many of you are aware, international freight times are becoming increasingly uncertain, so we are keen to ensure we have the shade paint stocks you will need for the coming warmer months.

Our specialised Q range of shade paints offer growers an extremely weatherproof and adjustable shading agent , with which the optimal shading conditions can be created to protect your crops against heat and excessive sunlight. Because the Q White products are liquid, the desired shading percentage can easily be achieved by diluting the product with water to suit the needs of your crop.

At the season's end, shade paints can be easily removed by using Removit. A mixture of 250 litres Removit diluted with approximately 1750 litres of water is sufficient for removing one hectare of shading agents from any greenhouse surface. However, depending on the thickness and age of the coating layer you may adjust the concentration.
