Today we're celebrating Sal's wealth of knowledge 📖

Teaching aromatherapy since 1988, Sal published his first book ‘The Complete Guide to Aromatherapy' in 1995 - which has sold more than 130,000 copies worldwide.

Since then, Sal has expanded his published works into a comprehensive library with translations into Japanese and Korean, from foundational knowledge to specialised applications, empowering you to harness the full potential of essential oils.

We were the first in Australia to be certified natural back in 2008 and have been making natural skin care since we opened our doors!

With hundreds of reviews and endless feedback over the years, our skin care has been innovated and evolved into the 5-star range you keep coming back for to this day.

Carolyn has been a pioneer in the world of natural skin care for over 30 years 🙌

She has led DIY workshops since the 90s, after publishing the first edition of 'Do It Yourself: Pure Plant Skin Care' and works closely with our Research and Development team throughout countless rounds of testing to deliver the divine skin care products you know and love.

"The magic of Relax is its simplicity"

Relax is one of our original blends, created back when we had a market stall at the local Brisbane craft markets in the 1980s. Relax continues to be one of our most popular long-term blends. The magic of relax is its simplicity. The secret combination of lavender, geranium, ylang ylang and sweet orange is the perfect relaxing ‘accord’. I smell it today, and the fresh delicate floral aroma is so relaxing and calming.

I hope you enjoy relax blend; it is one of my all-time favourites!

Many of you already know him, but for those of you who are new to the Perfect Potion community here is a little bit about our founder, Salvatore Battaglia.

A visionary leader in the world of aromatherapy, with over 40 years of experience, Sal has been passionate about natural therapies for most of his life. He holds qualifications in natural therapies, herbal medicine, acupuncture and aromatherapy while also being an author and educator.

In 1991, Sal created Perfect Potion with the purpose to naturally enhance people’s lives through certified organic aromatherapy products, natural skin care and essential oils. Perfect Potion has enabled him to see his lifelong dreams come true – expressing creativity by creating a diverse range of holistic products and by creating innovative education programs to empower people to take responsibility of their wellbeing through natural means such as aromatherapy.

He shares his passion for the world, natural therapies and aromatherapy with his wife, Carolyn Stubbin, his beagle Lucy and cat, Abbey 🌿
